It was reported last night on FOX 29's Philly affiliate that Sportscaster Howard Eskin received a Tweet from Jon Gruden that, "I'm not interested!", in the HCing job for the Eagles. Link to Google updates.

I'd love to see him back in the NFL, though that would probably mean the end of Gruden's QB Camp

It'd be a giant mistake imo. He went so far so fast and was never the same like the SB. He'll get lured back 1 day though. It'll be like Mike Ditka.

True. Very true. I think Gruden makes in excess of $6 million a year. If the Eagles lured him in, it'd probably take at least that. Would make him one of the Top 10 HCs in the league dollar wise.

They would go from bad to worse with signing Gruden. 

 

Just look at Tampa Bay, and ask their fans what an awesome coach he was to completely run their offense into the ground (which worked before the year 2003)

So by Irsay not hiring a coach who likes the limelight better than coaching is not smart? Even if Gruden did want to coach again the Colts have limited cameras.
