Holmes Escorted Out Of Locker Room

Painter and Collins both left a lot to be desired when they played QB, but no one from out team did anything like Holmes did

To be fair tho, both those guys are 'filler' QBs.

Not backing Holmes up at all, but I could see why he's frustrated. I bet everyone in that locker room is.

Why would we want to sign a guy who had to be escorted out of his previous teams locker room?

I get he's frustrated because Sanchez sucks, but causing a scene to the point where security has to escort you out? No thanks.

But they're not starters. Sanchez is and Holmes probably had all he could take. They reported he tore into Sanchez during practice last week.

That's the exact opposite of what I would want to see. When Collins was brought in, Wayne had the back of his (at that time) starting QB in Painter. Even when Painter showed nothing to be excited over, no one said anything and there were no reports of anyone ripping into the QB at practice. Holmes is a great talent, but not a guy who's attitude impresses me

He's supposed to be a team captain, too. He left Pittsburg not on the greatest of terms either. Didn't anyone think it strange for him to be jettisoned off the team after the playoff and SB performances he had? He's poison.

Must be the off-season already. The talk has begun about signing any slug that had a couple of decent years to "help" our team.

No thanks on this one. Doesn't matter if he was fed up with Sanchez or not. We don't need this kind of guy. The next thing I will expect to hear is we should go get DeSean Jackson.

There's an unnamed player on the Jets roster who said, "He's a cancer. It's like dealing with a 10 year old."

Even before Holmes was benched Sunday' date=' a team source told the New York Daily News on Monday that Holmes' antics were beginning to wear on his teammates.

The source said Holmes went after Sanchez during a team meeting last Wednesday and then failed to show up to a separate meeting the next day.

"He went back and forth with Mark at the meeting," the source said. "He was saying stuff like, 'What am I even here for?' Then he blew off Mark by not even showing up the next day."

^ That does not sound like someone I want rubbing elbows with a rookie QB (ie. Luck).

Hard to fathom, given his track record, why any team would want Santonio Holmes in their locker room at this point.

A lot of rival fans thought the Patriots were playing with fire by bringing in someone like Randy Moss, but Moss was an altar boy compared with Holmes. He's a destructive and selfish player, and he's not even close to being as good as he thinks he is.
