7 snaps last week.

 

And here's a picture to prove it.      See if you can't find #62 in your program.  Looks like he played right guard.

You are correct.  I rewatched the game last night specifically looking for him and Phillips.

 

Holmes looked decent, but it's not the same as playing interior line.  Maybe this is a step to him getting there.

Tentative, and a bit behind the play, as expected.  I thought there was one play where he looked comfortable on an inside rush.  

 

We can't expect a guy to come in and learn the system in a couple days.  It will be interesting to see if he can pick it up and contribute.

I thought exactly the same, seemed to me he was trying hard to fit in sideline as well, find his way you know! I believe we have him for another year as well, & I think he knows the system from his time with SD. I think it wroth the gamble! If he is 85% of what he was that would still be pretty good. If he rounds into form this year what help now, & for next year. Might even help the young guys some. Although Newsome seems to be coming on nicely!

I already posted a thread about this after the game.

 

Like previously stated, he was in on jumbo sets. I saw him on the sidelines prior to kickoff and watched him and the rest of the line like a hawk. He looked good.
