Unfortunately, the fact that he isn't a 'loud mouth obnoxious dill hole' may hurt his chances for all-pro or pro-bowl.

IMO, Corner, OL, long-snapper, and holder are the 4 positions in the league where the better you do your job the less your name should be talked about on TV. Davis has very little go his way, he played excellent again today and did get a pick which was nice. You don't hear the announcers talking about how great he has been all year though. He isn't like Sherman where he is going to go and bring attention to himself -- so there are probably a lot of people voting for pro-bowl that aren't Colts fans that don't know how good Vontae is.

That said, I hope he never becomes loud and obnoxious and just continues to excel at his job.

Vontae Davis isn't popular enough to get selected to a pro bowl.

He needs more exposure.

He's been the best CB in the league so far, shutdown Thomas and Smith. He has a good chance to make all pro.

Nobody really catche's anything on Vontae. It's amazing. I also think it's the reason though, that Greg Toler sticks out in a bad way. When you play opposite a shutdown corner, everything you do is magnified ten fold.

He is playing All Pro caliber football right now. We saw flashes of this level of play last year. He has consistently been on the top of his game, and we are seeing the fruits of that focus. 

 

Our secondary as a whole is playing really well right now. If Toler can stay healthy, we can compete with anyone in the AFC.

IMO our entire defensive backfield has played surprisingly well this season.   Adams, Butler, Brown, Davis, Toler - hope they stay healthy and continue to improve!
