This is one of the few times I agree with John Fox's sissy playcalling. Go up by 7 since barring another complete defensive collapse the Cards are not a threat for a TD to tie it.

ARZ has been helpless for the entire second half, so the 41 points don't mean much.

 

The Cards' offense can't do anything but go 3 and out. Denver has had a buttload of opportunities for points.

Actually that pass was prior to the final completion .... the final completion which was actually incomplete - to Sanders who did not have two feet down, but not reviewed it set a personal milestone for Manning at 479 yards in the game.

That really surprised me too - thought surely he would have gotten that before.   He was extremely excited to have gotten that last completion - he pumped both fist and had a huge smile on his face.
