I hope he does go there. They can start the implossion caused by this clown as early as possible if I had anything to do with it.

Oh how soon we forget...

This is exactly what everyone said when Randy Moss went there... And it's only by some un-repeatable miracle catch and an untimely injury that they didn't officially become the greatest team of all time for it...

The Patriots are really not afraid to make moves. I guess that's why they have Brady has 3 Superbowl rings and Manning only has one. smdh

I guess you are right,I know Jim Irsay said that We only sign our own free agents, but I think is time to do something about it,the year that the Colts won the big one ,it was against the worst QB ever to get to the big game,I Know We're been in the playoffs for 9 years but only one ring,it should be different,We have the best QB ever, but the owner does not fix the D,or OL.common lets do some thing about it.

I was just thinking and digesting this trade. Does anyone besides me see this as a possible way to get Carson Palmer to change his mind and play this year for the Bengals? He said after last season that he wouldn't be back if Chad and T.O. were still on the team. Your thoughts?

This could be a great signing for the Pats. Ocho has tons of talent and will be motivated to play with a QB like Brady, a coach like Belichick and a contender like the Pats.

TBH I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him lead the league in receiving the way Moss did his first year there... :rolleyes2:

First off Chad is no Randy Moss of a few seasons ago. Secondly, Moss never had tv camera's following him around like he is a celebrity dancer lol. Chad will call out anyone on the team and thinks he is above the team. He has been told many times to cut out his anticks by the Bengals and he just didnt care. Randy never looked for media attention. He just go mouthy a few times when we wasnt getting the ball thrown his way. Cant blame him to much, the man knew he was one of the greatest WR's of all time.

I am pretty sure Palmers days in Cincy are over. Its too bad. He had a ton of tallent. He got ate up by one of the most undisiplined teams I have seen in a long time. He got tired of the coach not putting an end to it. He was always getting called out by his so called buddy Chad Ochocinco. But if we rember right, I believe Chad lead the league in dropped passes a few times, and so did TO for sure.

Ochocinco is definitely an attention hog, but by no accounts has he ever been a problem in the Bengals' locker room. If you have any actual facts to back up what you said, please share them. If I'm wrong I'll say I was wrong.

He's a very animated guy but has never been in legitimate trouble (arrests, etc). Class clown type, but generally pretty harmless.

And Moss never said a word about not getting the ball thrown his way while he was in NE. That's just flat-out inaccurate. His public griping was about not getting an extension or a new deal. Had absolutely zero to do with getting enough passes thrown at him.

Nobody lets NE get away with anything. BB has good relationships with nearly every coach around the league, and has a track record of taking on troubled cases. He gives away low draft picks and reworks contracts to be flexible enough that NE can get rid of any trouble before it begins without losing too much. Plus, what veteran player wouldn't want to play in NE? It's simply the Pats being the Pats.

I agree with watching out for 85 now that he's with Brady....1100 yards and 12-15 TDs this year, I fear.

I saw an on field interview with him. Basically he said while I'm still myself I'll be doing it the patriot way and turn the antics down a notch. He ended I won't be seeing you guys (media) much from here on. wow. A subdued Chad?

Listen to Tom Brady's reaction tothis news. He played politics to the max. I am certain he is not happy with this but as great players do great things. NE is not a home for glory seekers and Ocho says he is going to get in line. Time will tell.

New England owner Robert Kraft is doing the best he can, but is clearly suffering as he deals with the loss of his wife Myra, who died July 20 after a long battle with cancer.

Sitting in an otherwise empty cafeteria hall beneath Gillette Stadium, the 70-year-old Kraft tears up at one point as he recounted their first date when he was 20 and she was 19.

That is so sad. My heart goes out to him.

    • Hmmm.   ”Healthy excuses will be hard to come by.”    Really?   Richardson, who had less than a thousand snaps in college, then had roughly 200 snaps his rookie year.  There’s one.   And Houston has Stroud who had a great rookie year.  Aren’t most media predicting Houston and JVille ahead of Indy this year?  That’s two without any trouble.     I just think insisting on a division title because a fan thinks it’s time doesn’t stand up to much scrutiny.   Sorry, just my two cents…. And often not worth that much.
    • For me absolutely it does. If Richardson stays healthy excuses will be hard to come up with. As positive as I am with Ballard at some point we have to start winning. He bet on himself by bringing in his own home grown talent this year, what he does at safety in the coming month and a half has me worried as well. We were so close to winning the division last year with a back up QB that my expectation is winning the AFC south this year.    If they make it into the wild card game and lose then the seat is just as hot for me. If they advance further and make a Cinderella run then I’m fully back on board.
    • 3 straight losses for the Reds. They have their moments where they play well. But it’s time to be real. They aren’t a playoff team and will never be as long as the Castillinis own them and David Bell is manager.    De La Cruz is fun, but his career will be wasted on this team.
    • Am I reading this correct?   You think Ballard’s seat gets hot if the Colts don't win the AFC South?  Really?   So if the Colts don’t win the south but make the playoffs Ballard’s seat still gets hot?    Just making sure I understand your viewpoint.
    • Yes, yes he did. If you scroll back to old Pagano post you’ll see how much blame he got. I definitely hold Pagano is regards to letting Luck down on the offensive side of the ball. I also see the Houston Texans inevitably going down the same path.   D’joun Smith is who you’re thinking of.   Grigson is looked at as an overall bust and a terrible drafter so naturally the blame will be more widely accepted. There is no doubt things will be heating up under Ballards seat if anything less then winning the division is obtained this year. The QB position has been his Achilles heel. If Richardson is healthy this season I believe his roster will be very heavily evaluated with no excuses this year.
