Randy Moss, Chad Johnson...ANYBODY!!! 1 year contract please! Im sure that they would wake up this offense and give some hope...

We need a clutch receiver! TY Hilton is a threat, but then who else is a threat if they decide to use double coverage on him?

There are some good receivers on that list.

Patrick Crayton would be worth a tryout.

At this point in time, yes, it probably is too late for a free agent WR. Remember how much the WRs on the roster are currently struggling with developing chemistry with Luck (I'm looking at you DHB and Brazill), it'd be somewhat unrealistic to imagine a bum WR off the streets to develop any sort of chemistry with Luck, much less learn most if not all of the playbook in time to actually make a worthwhile contribution to the team.

It doesn't cost much to work a player out.

Not sure why you are so certain any player on that list would not help. We are just a few dudes on a message board talking about the Colts.

Because Edwards is more of what we already have. Dynamic if he gets the ball, but drops a ton. We need someone who may not be as dynamic, but is sure handed.

I am well aware of Braylon dropping passes in the past. We will not find a sure handed receiver who is not currently signed.

I also like Patrick Crayton from the list.

Because I don't think Edwards is dynamic anymore. He was never that fast, and he hasn't produced in many moons. He's not a technically sound receiver, so getting on the same page with Luck would be a challenge.

The guys on that list are there for a reason. If Deion Branch or Brandon Lloyd were interested in playing right now, they would be. All indications are that they don't want to play anymore. But they are the only ones on that list I'd like. I'm a big Collie fan, but dude can't stay healthy.

There's zero harm in bringing anyone in for a workout. I just don't think there's any notable free agent receivers available. You're absolutely right, we're just a few people on a message board. I don't know anything.

What's the difference between him and Rogers, though? I think Rogers is better, to be honest.

Probably. But the fact that the coaching staff would rather keep a 4th tight end who didn't play basically any snaps and keep David Reed in as a 4th receiver instead of activating him tells me that the coaching staff doesn't want to give him any PT.

And if i remember correctly, we worked out Barden sometime last week.

I missed the Barden workout. Muy interesante. I wouldn't mind having him. Just think we already do.

Did he ever fully recover from that concussion? He was an up and coming young player before that happened.

Ahh yeah I actually forgot about that.... it's a shame too-- he has true talent as a route runner. He reminded me of Marvin Harrison in college.

I always thought Edwards was kinda overrated.  He seemed like a guy who would go to a team with a lot of hype have a fairly good year but not to the level the team thought they were getting when they got him and they would quickly move on from him.

Also didn't the Pats release Collie because he got hurt?  I am not sure how bad the injury was but I would think if he was healthy he would be a realistic option because at least he played a little with Luck so they already kinda know each other even if it was in a different system.

Maybe deion branch. Heck he even lives in indy right now.

who woulda ever thought a retired Patriots player would live in Indy...LOL!

I think he is trying to signal something...that he wants to play in Indy. Next thing you know, he happened to move there the day after Reggie Wayne gets hurt. Maybe nobody just knows who he is...
