I like it when the experts don't believe in us.

I am watching the game and Thomas has four receptions for 97 yards and two TDs with five minutes to go in the first half. Listen and learn, the guy is much better than Dwayne Allen or Fleener and he has a real master delivering the ball to him.

Yeah he's having a great game so far. Awful blocker tho.

He's doing my fantasy team wonders.

Both Allen and him are different types of players.

Allen is like Jason Witten, short to intermediate catcher who won't stretch the field, but has reliable hands and is the best blocker in the league.

Let's see Thomas play a few games before we crown him.

Thomas is more like Jimmy Graham/Antonio Gates where he's a freak athlete who can get deep, but block's like a 3rd graded.

BTW, OlBlu. you're boy D. Thomas (you know the guy who's better than Marvin Harrison) isn't looking so hot right now.

I never said he was better than Marvin Harrison. I said the combination of Denver's two big time WRs are better than Wayne and Harrison in the day. Marvin may have been better than either of them individually but as a pair, I take those two. Still a half to go.

double busted

I am living in Texas, what does that have to do with OlBlu? I am a Marketing Director, that says he was an Executive Producer. He lived in a big motorhome, I do not. I travel once in a while for business but it is by air. So we both like the Pacers, Yankees and Denver. Do you think that is an unusual combination for someone who is also a life long Colts fan. I watch Peyton, I make no bones about that.  He is amused. I am mellow. I sure as hell don't like Ohio State, I am an IU fan. He looks for beauty in nature, art and people. I don't give a damn about are or beauty in people. I do find some scenes in nature, like the Grand Canyon, very exciting. So, anyone who lives in Texas must be OlBlu? You are just being silly.

Well, if it's any consolation, judging from his PD profile, he is from Texas. so i guess you were partially right. haha

What is the big deal with living in Texas. I certainly don't live in Houston and I am from Indiana.

Dude has been posting non stop ALL DAY long, now that he's been fully outed, i bet he makes like David Copperfield & disappears!!!!

Why would I do that. I am not OlBlu. I don't write like him or anything. From what I read from his posts he hated the Colts and he hated Luck. I am not about either of those things. If I was wanting to hide something from all of you, I wouldn't put it in my profile.

I have also never been in Pacers Digest. I find the NBA too hard to watch. I would rather see IU play basketball.

I have been an IU fan for my whole life. I was born and raised about ten miles from Bloomington.

Thomas looks very good receiving the ball and after the catch, I have been impressed with him

Enjoy watching a REAL franchise QB. Julius has 110 yards receiving. Lets see Allen do that.

Thanks. He does need work as a blocker but he is the real deal. Peyton spreads the ball out to everyone.

I'd personally still have Allen though because he showed he can produce and that was with limited targets because of pass protection he had to help on.......Thats also another reason I'd take Allen because he is stronger and an all around TE at this stage. With that said based on Combine #'s alone Thomas does have the bigger upside but thats just shorts and shirt stuff

He looks great tonight but Peyton made Tamme look mighty good too a few years ago.

Your comparing a 16 year vet to a 2nd year QB. Come on now, ya have to know thats laughable to compare them from that stand point alone, Dont kid yourself into thinking Luck dont have a bigger upside then Manning did coming out. Also dont kid yourself into thinking Allen cant go deep easily, he is more then capable, he had a 40 yard catch last year

I was only jesting. I don't expect Luck to be Peyton now or ever. That would be too much to ask. He will be a very good Andrew Luck and that will be good enough.

    • This contract makes me think about the other receivers who will now get contracts and how are the teams going to go about it:   Jamarr Chase:  he’s definitely getting $28million or more.  I don’t see Higgins staying unless there are numerous reworks and pay cuts from other teammates.  I’m sure Boyd and Burton will be their WR2 and WR3 in the future.  Bengals will definitely pick up his 5th year option, but what will happen in 2026?   CeeDee Lamb:  he’s getting paid also.  He’s gotten better every year and last year was a MONSTER year for him.  Let’s see what Jerry does.  He has Dak and Ceedee to pay and both are going to command some big contracts.     seems like aiyuk is the last one because I’m pretty sure anyone else will either have their 5th year option picked up or have gotten paid.   props to Ballard for getting Pittman paid before the top dogs like JJ set the market.
    • Yes agreed Well Deserved!    I have been hoping that Granson can turn into a player like Clark
    • Gotcha. Wentz was  one of the most talented qbs in the league based on physical traits. The Colts, in their assessment of Wentz, didn't realize they were not getting the same player mentally. I am not a Wentz apologist but I do,  and said it at the time, the Oline needed to take some responsibility in what he became. He was battered and bruised by the lack of protection and I think the beating he took in Philly and the early one he took with the Colts, knocked whatever was left of a starting qb in that body and mind. The point I am making is this. We can say he is our franchise LT and say he played really well and is deserved of a  big 2nd contract.  If one were just to look at it objectively.  Say fans and Colts media have him rated as a 7.5 and based on Cosell's comments he has him as a 5.0. Do you think Cosell could be so way off in his evaluation of Raimann? That is just what I found interesting. I mean I could say Cosell say that Raimann was say average and go okay, we can live with that. To say that he is not the answer and/or has not panned out is a different monster all together.
