Thoughts on UDFA signed up so far - which ones will make team?

My hope is that one of the corners can play and beat out Vaughn or Gordy in TC.... Like others have said... we need depth at OT and S, so if we can get somebody from the UDFA pool, its a bonus...

Who is going to be this year's Freeman? My personal hope is that O"Bryant blows everybody away and saves us some money w/ regard to resigning Brown (who I like, but has had trouble staying on the field and will be in murky water contract-wise regardless of his performance this season) our 2 newest RBs are small, but we also have FBs, TEs, and big O-lineman to hide behind... I think many were expecting T.Y. to mostly return punts last season, but if you get a guy on the field, he might impress....

Swanson was an interesting prospect to me before the draft.

Wish we would have signed Da'rick Rogers.

Bills GM was on Sirius NFL Radio earlier said that were 14 other teams all trying to sign Darick Rogers at the same time after the draft.

Ditto, except I was out of WHS 10 years earlier.  Everyone around here says he's a great kid, would love to see it happen for him.

My gf came from WHS, graduated in 04. i graduated four years later and I think Driskill was a Year afterme. Not sure. All I know is Driskill is a good kid, high motor and a hard player. I played DE in high school and T. He played Rb, P, K, PR,KR, S,. He was the team almost

Y'all are getting y'all hopes way too high on these UDFA, looking back at last year with the depleted roster we had at the time we brought in these 14 UDFA and NONE made the 53 man roster.

Micah Pellerin CB, Hampton

Jabin Sambrano, WR, Montana

Jason Foster, OG, Rhode Island (via his Twitter handle)

Steven Baker, OT, East Carolina (via his former coach's Twitter page)

Cameron Chism, CB, Maryland (via KFFL)

Chris Galippo, LB, USC (via his Twitter handle)

Hayworth Hick, OG, Iowa (via his Twitter handle)

Griff Whalen, WR, Stanford (via this lady and Stanford University)

Kevin Eagan, DE, Endicott (via former teammate Vinny Franco)

Buddy Jackson, DB, Pittsburgh (via Ignition APG Twitter handle)

Antonio Fenelus, CB, Wisconsin (via his former coach's Twitter page)

Matt Merlettim, RB, Ignatious (via Total Ignatious Move)

Brian Stahovich, P, San Diego State

James Aiono, DT-DE, Utah (via his agents)

Chigbo Anunoby, NT, Morehouse College

Uhhh NOT TRUE...Jabin Sambrano AND Griff Whalen BOTH made the team and ARE currently on the roster. Also Jabin will be a str8 BEAST when he gets his chance to play, and Griff Whalen is Luck's Wes Welker when he's in the game!!  soooo that post may have made you feel good to write it.  But...It is just NOT accurate!!

Seems that way.

Which thoroughly confuses me. I think tyrann mathieu had a lot more reasons not to be drafted than Rogers, and yet he went in the third.

I think what we know publicly is the equivalent of the tip of the iceberg....

In other words what we don't know about Rogers is likely well below the water-line where we can't see it....

If Mathieu was taken in the 3rd round,  and Rogers was passed on 254 times,  I think that tells you there is much that fans just  don't know....

No they didn't, the colts roster consist of 53 players and their names weren't on it. Just about anybody with football experience(I'm exaggerating) can get on a teams 90 man training camp roster

You are on the roster until you are either cut, released or waived.  check the Colts Team Roster. Jabin Sambrano and Griff Whalen are indeed on that list.

I just gave you the colts 53 man roster last year, and their names wasn't on it, what more proof do you need that Sambrano and Whalen didn't make the team last year

O'Bryant.......

This is a very interesting pickup...     This kid can straight up move!!   He is blazing fast.

Small school ball but he dominated it....    Indy is really bringing in some speed.

I like Denodus Obryant, Sheldon Price, Rodrick Rumble

You're correct, Sambrano "wowed" the coaches during the mini camp, but obviously needed a little more time to develop.  I think he was outright cut.  If I recall, he wasn't immediately put on the PS either?

I think the team really like Whalen but knew he wasn't ready, and they didn't want to risk him getting snapped up off our PS.  It's only my opinion, but I kind of think they put him on IR just to keep him.

NCF knows the Stanford players better than me, I'm only guessing on Whalen.

Swanson,Cleary,Price have the best chance With driskill being a long shot

Has anyone noticed that Dax Swanson is listed as a safety on the official roster and not as a cornerback? Does that increase his chances of making the team as a backup, probably at free safety because of his size?

I think someone said that was a typo.  But if he were playing FS, I think that would increase his chances of making the team.

Barring injury I think that Vontae, Toler, Butler and Vaughn are locks.  Gordy should have the edge for the next spot.  Not sure if we'll carry 5 or 6 CBs.
