This has been the most fun I have had with this in the 3 years doing it. So much great competition is why. Chad has been outstanding so far.

I didn't want to spend much time following the games, so I quit fantasy football in all leagues (work and this forum etc.)

But you guys make me follow it again, but thankfully I am not dissecting WR-CB or run defense matchups as much. Just need to know which QB is starting but can never predict who is going to finish, lol (looking at you Dobbs) :)

You may win this, long way to go. I have my work cut out for me. Just not you but 3 or 4 others are right there.

Too early to tell. It will definitely come down to Week 18 (17th game), I can guarantee that because one bad week and you can blow it.

I will go ahead and make my picks too shortly because at worse we can always change a pick if a key injury happens to a team we pick.

I can't even pick Thursdays game yet because I am not sure if Fields will play?

Sounds like he'll be out again.

I have no clue how to pick this game. What do you do? It's two extremely sucky teams who's organizations are both essentially dead on arrival.

My one prediction is 49ers over Jaguars. San Francisco will get their act together and win this week. The Jaguars tend to make mistakes, and the 49ers will take advantage of that.  Not overly confident, but am going with this.

That's another game I have no idea about. The 49ers have way more talent in all positions except QB. But then the Bengals walked into their house and smoked 'em.

The Jags seem to be the new Steelers where they find ways to win without looking particularly good doing it.

Actually, the Jaguars look very clinical this year. They have got 16 turnovers in what 8 games, that is exceptional, equally in forcing fumbles or interceptions. Pass coverage is solid, they're very efficient on defense in 4th down. They've got 2 defensive TDs. They've not got many sacks, so the defense may not have been flashy but they're doing a great job complementing the offense.

Etienne has been near elite, Lawrence has converted lots of 3rd downs both through the air and by feet. Kirk has been one of the consistent receivers this year, Ridley seems to have a big game every few games. It's all working well.

The schedule has been soft though, even after Bye, they've got only 3 tough games out of 9 against SF, CIN & BAL. If they handle their business in remaining divisional games they're set for high play-off seed.

To me, and some of the NFL analysts agree, the Jags offense isn't reaching their full potential. The current question is who have they really beaten?

The Bills look like shells of their former selves. Beating us doesn't seem like that big of an accomplishment. They got blown out by Stroud and the Texans, and lost to Kansas... The Falcons are... the Falcons...

We'll see. They need to show up against the 49ers. And down the road they have a date with Burrow and the Bengals.

I have no doubt the Jags win the division with their schedule though.

Travesty... Who would've thought having these teams on the same bye week was a good idea...

But then again.. I look no further than our wonderful slate of Primetime games..

My fantasy team of

Tua

Swift

AJ Brown

Cooper Kupp

Eagles defense

is looking pretty good...
