Mt guess is he had wrist surgery. He played right after he hurt his wrist and had a wrap on it. Then media reported he had a soft cast. Just a guess but maybe back after the bye week.

I don't think the Colts expected him to miss this many games, otherwise they would have put him on IR.

Braden is a top 10 RT. When hes played this year he has consistently graded out well. What makes an actual RT? Do people just care more about measurables than actual results?

 

This goes with the whole "he can't stop speed rushers. He gave up a ton of sacks today." Results come out and not only does he grade well, it shows he didn't give up any sacks.

Injuries have been his achilles heel. When Braden is healthy and on the field, he's a Pro Bowl caliber player.

Smith constantly grades as one of the top 10 tackles in the league.  Just because he was a guard in college doesn’t mean that’s the only position he can play.  He’s been a very good right tackle since day one here.

Do you know what Smiths PFF score was last year?    75, which is very good.   It was down from three straight years where he graded at 80, but still very good. 
 

This year?    Another year of 75.    Your reference of Smith last year being dog do do was simply another case of fan opinion, but nothing to back it up.   Now you think he’s better this year, and yet he has almost the same score as last year. 
 

Facts matter.   Opinions matter less.   And that’s my opinion.

He has played more games at RT than RG.  He is an RT, and very good when healthy
