Can the Colts Bear giving up a 5th?

Recommended Posts

I truly believe that the Colts should attempt to strike a deal with the Bears for Claypool.

I'm not sure he's damaged goods. If all is true, I think the dude just wants to be a featured part of a gameplan and lord knows we need receivers.

I say it's worth a look sees.

Just my :2c:

Compensatory 2025 7th rounder would be my first offer.

They've basically told him to stay away from the team, we'd be borderline doing them a favor by getting him.

He IS a physical specimen though, at 6'4'' 238 lbs, 4.42 speed, and is only 25.

Maybe in his home state where he went to school, he might feel more apt to produce?? He has had all the tools and all the coaching with the Steelers and Bears organization, yet has underachieved.

Worth a flier with a 6th rounder at best, IMO.

Looking at Claypool as a savior after 2 teams have problems with him……

Fool me once. Shame on you

Fool me twice , shame on me

Fool me a THIRD time……. Yikes.

I would rather get our future WR1 the old fashioned way….. by drafting him

There will be some amazing WRs available to the Colts in the middle of round 1

If for some reason a REAL WR1 becomes available up until trade deadline I would consider a 2nd or a 3rd. There may be a losing team that would give up a player to get picks (probably not)

lastly Jeff George played for 5 teams…….

A putz is a putz is a putz.
