Opinion: The Colts should invite Younghoe Koo to a tryout

Younghoe Koo was a relatively successful kicker in the AAF and is currently a free agent.  With Vinateiri either struggling or overdue for retirement dopending on who you ask, it's time to consider replacements, and Koo might be the most cost effective replacement out there.  I think it makes a lot of sense to see if we can bring him in as a possible replacement for AV if AV can't show improvement in the next few games

The big reason I prefer Koo is that he's one kicker I'm pretty confident that we can acquire without spending any assets other than the money and the roster spot.  Ballard hedging his bets with Koo would be a sensible and efficient move

Something must be done.  That last incompletion by Tennessee is the only thing that saved the Colts from two straight losses because of Vinatieri.  Not really fair to the rest of the players.

Definitely something needs done, at least a back up plan at a minimum.

Hopefully if he decides to hang em up,   he will stick around the team in another capacity

We need Vin as a leader less this year than we have any time in the last 10.  We've got a good young team with a lot of leadership coming up through the ranks right now.  Vin is a leftover from 2 quarterbacks ago, and he's no longer effective at his job, it's OK to let him go

Yes we do have young leadership, but He’s the GOAT at what he did and that carries weight.

He's still available and is the most logical choice to replace AV because he played with us during preseason and did petty well as I recall.

I think they could convince him to stay and mentor a new kicker, kinda like slauson did with the Oline. I wonder if the leg injury is still bothering him
