There's a difference in being interested in the Indy job because we have Andrew Luck and being bored with the Monday Night Football gig.

Those two things are not related.

Both could be true.      One could be true.    And both could be false.

Gruden wants to coach, but, it's got to be the right situation...COLTS are that situation. ..I GUARANTEE you if we make a SERIOUS offer to him he would take it...I have a feeling Irsay has a case of Jerry Jonesitis and likes a yes man so he won't go after a coach who will tell him to just write the checks and let me do my job...just a feeling I got..

For whatever it's worth....      These are Gruden's most recent remarks...

Earlier this week, Gruden said that he's "very happy doing what I'm doing" as an analyst on ESPN's Monday Night Football.

"Right now, I have no intentions of coaching," Gruden said on ESPN's "Mike & Mike" radio show. "I really enjoy what I'm doing and I feel like I'm really close to the fire and I'm getting plenty of satisfaction out of doing what I'm doing."

What's your take on the big guy D'onta Foreman from U of Texas? Reminds me of Legarett Blount and a little Ajayi.

I like him, but he doesn't have much shake at all...Good short yardage back, needs a hole to really break it, but he is a solid back..

Seems to have pretty good Agility for a guy 250lbs. Ran for 2000 plus yards I believe. Ajayi doesnt have a lot of shake and bake either but hes productive. I've always thought we needed a bruiser back there. I'm just kind of starting to review some of these guys.. I like him so far.

I see Delone Carter...Not a bad thing in 6th or 7th round..We already got Turbin though who I think is better..

Much bigger than Delone Carter and way more productive. Kid is 6'0" 250. Edgerrin James type of height.

I'd add him to the stable you don't c many 250lb guys with speed..You never know..

I wouldn't mind him in later rds we should get 2 rb out of draft..I still want Cook, Fournette, McCafferey, or Gallman early though..Foreman could be what we r missing on 3rd and 1 though..Maybe we wouldn't run a pass play if we had him..

Not very tall though. I remember Edge had that big frame and how people used to bounce off of him.

He was short bowling ball like 5-8, same straight ahead hit the hole style..Roosevelt Potts like..Could be a surprise if given 20 carries consistently. .

So let me get this straight.  Basic premise of thread is: Colts did good against Vikes, Clark is gonna be next best thing since sliced bread (when he just had a solid not special performance), Pagano is terrible and solely to blame, Grigson is a god because he made 2 intelligent picks this year (despite his 100 other misses but I digress), Saturday was trash, and D'onta Foreman is Delone Carter (lol wat?).

Not sure how any other topic could ever be more.... entertaining?

So because he's big he's a short yardage back? Lol

Bell is considered lanky is he a short yardage back?

Foreman doesn't have a good line in Texas yet he's breaking runs of 20 plus consistently?

I mean... I don't even think Foreman is a top 3 RB this draft but your view on him is seriously jaded.

Height is actually a detriment to rb's..I like 250 with speed though..

Tell that to Eddie George and Edgerrin James. Tell that to guys like Antoine Smith, DeMarco Murray and others. Dont think it means much. Either you can play or you can't.

No one has argued lol.  Your the only one who saying he's the sole reason for our troubles and Grigson is soooo amazing.

When imo both of them were terrible together and both of them are getting better together.  Especially if Chud and Pags turn a page and find out that quick rhythm passing is the way to win in today's NFL.

Yes foremans running style is just like Carter's,  he is 3 inches taller..Blount is similar in size but has some shake..Not a bad thing, he will be a good pro..I don't c every down 1500 yard back though..I COULD be wrong its very possible...

I just don't see a special quality other than size..Does he catch? Big 12 isn't NFL..He is a short yardage back..

Dalvin Cook is Edgerrin James...James had elusiveness. .I don't see elusiveness with Foreman..He is just a tank..Alstott was a tank but could dance too, no dance in forman, NFL will eat him up..He is a specialist...If he is in right system with good line he can put up numbers for sure..I just don't see franchise back with him..Texas would havw a better record if he was..just saying

Didnt say he is who we should definitely take. However there's more there than Delone Carter. I like some of what I've seen, but there are others to consider certainly.

Saturday sucked?        Seriously?

He was one and done in Green Bay because he was old.....       not because he sucked.

Holy Cow.........

Some of you are out of your minds. You don't pay attention at all. Jeff did suck. I'll stick to that statement. Your a fan that complains every week then when Colts win your back on the train.

He is better than Carter no doubt..his style reminds me of Carter cause im familiar with Carter is all i'm saying..Straight ahead hit the hole type back who r big..He aint eddie George or Dickerson and def not James..Could he come in in right system and be a pro bowler absolutely..Im not dogging him..

Jeff was good, not a pro bowler by any means..The receivers and lineman all benefited from Peytons genius that era..

Stats don't lie. Once Tarik Glenn left it was the decline of the offensive line. I'm not going to argue with anyone because if you've been a Colts fan you know that. Manning had a quick release which masked the line.

As to the bolded comment above....    I think you have me confused with somebody else....

And it's not some of us who are out of our minds --- it's you.     Jeff Saturday was one of the best centers in the NFL during his time.      Year after year of great play.      Maybe not Hall of Fame level,   but one of the best centers of his generation.        I don't know why you don't know this,   but you don't.

I'm on your side..The line we got developing now is way better than anything Peyton ever had talent wise..Won't be another Peyton ever..He made bums look good

I just dont think you run for 2000 in the Big 12 if all you are is a goal line back. He put up Adrian Peterson numbers at 250lbs. There's other backs who may be a better fit but I think you are short changing him a bit.

Here are his honors....     Four times an All-Pro,  Six times into the Pro Bowl.      I think my view of Saturday is closer to being right than yours....     lol...

Honors and awards[edit]

Saturday has been voted onto six Pro Bowl teams in 20052006200720092010 and 2012. . For the 2005 and 2007 seasons he was named to the Associated Press NFL All-Pro First Team.

Saturday also received the "Tuesday Morning Quarterback Non-QB Non-RB NFL MVP Award" from ESPN columnist Gregg Easterbrook in January 2007.

Saturday was inducted into the Indianapolis Colts Ring of Honor during the week 2 game against the New York Jets on September 21, 2015.[16]
