The key is waiting for a season to be over to see the whole picture. Your Pro Football Reference quote did that but @Defjamz26 was quoting that StampedeBlue article for a mid to early season drop rate quoted, which wouldn’t be something to rely on till the entire season played out. The OP’s goal was however to shed light on college drop rates. Seems to me, based on everything I see, AP’s catch rate has improved in the Pros over college, another testament to Reggie’s coaching.

I think the Cubs will make the playoffs, better talent and management in the division. -

I will just be happy if the Cubs make the playoffs. I thought they would be better than what they are but as long as they stay within playoff contention all season, it will keep me interested and watching. 6 teams get in and as of now the Cubs are tied for 6th in the NL. -

Should’ve been 7-1 but Suzuki made a very uncharacteristic error. My only wish now for the seasons is to not finish last place, but I don’t see Cincy climbing out of the doormat, it’s just too much of a hole. -

It has just been postponed. They are still going to fight. New fight date will be announced soon. Doctors found an ulcer in Mike's stomach so it is a health risk that he fights. If you get hit in the wrong spot with an ulcer, your stomach can cause internal bleeding. That is nothing to play around with. The fight will still happen according to both parties.
