Jamaal Anderson is there.  He blocked a field goal for us back in 2011.

Dan Moore is also there. He had a cup of coffee with Indy in the preseason a couple years ago.

I hope we get a nice feel-good story out of this. Someone rising from the ashes to be a star...or maybe just successful for a few years.

I still don't get what they are going to have them do that most NFL teams have not already seen at pro days, preseason, regular season, etc ....

 

I mean its not a bad idea, but you need someway for the players to showcase something that most of the teams haven't already seen .... maybe a scrimmage or something like the senior bowl for veterans ... ????

Felix Jones can produce at a high level I think if he would learn to hang onto the football

Best case scenario for any of these guys is that 1 or 2 make a roster as a backup. I don't see any of these players breaking out at this point. With that said, a few years ago when he was a FA I was hoping we'd sign Felix Jones. I always thought he'd be a good back.

Mikel LaShoure deserves to be on a roster. He shouldn't even be participating in this.

What is Felix Jones going to show everyone they don't already know, I mean he has plenty of NFL tape ... I just don't see how you showcase someone like that.  If they really wanted to give these guys a shot they would expand rosters and/or practice squads.  Maybe give each team veteran only practice squad in addition to the current one ... lol

I meant a couple years ago about Jones. Back when I thought he could still be productive and turn his career around. Its too late now. Maybe as a 3rd stringer.

Yeah I understood, I was using him more as an example of players like him in general and what they can show that most teams haven't already seen.

I wish Rayford was a more complete football player. As far as pass rushing alone hes better than anyone we had last year.
