I doubt it hes a starter and theres no way grigs has RJF a rotational with the moneyhes getting I see this being addressed in draft

 

Nope, that's why Jones would likely take over the starter role for Redding. ;)

 

He's played 1 year with us and you want to give up on him? I don't think he was terrible, nothing to give up on yet.

 

He wasn't terrible...not by a long shot.  He actually played pretty well considering it was his first year in this defense.

 

Okay another question if we can trade RJF say for a 5 rounder do we still owe him the money or does the team getting him takes the cap hit?

 

RJF isn't going anywhere this offseason so there's no point in discussing it.  RJF, Walden, Toler and Landry will all be Colts during the 2014 season and I wouldn't be surprised if none of them were cut next offseason either unless injuries become a recurring concern.  they played better than most people give them credit for.

If we sign Jones that will put RJF on the bench as depth and Redding and Jones will start probably, Redding had a overall good year, Jean Francois only started 10 games and was serviceable but inconsistent, But doubt we sign Jones

From what I saw of him he showed promise. Makes sense that he may have potential to grow into that position if he;s given more playing time. But the team sure may decide to bring in a veteran. I liked what I saw from Howell. We'll see which way the team decides to go. Howell is coming off injury so who knows.

I think if they're both healthy I'd kind of rotate the 2. Defenses tend to get more tired than offenses when they're on the field a long time. As to who the starter would be I couldn't really predict it, but I'd guess the coaches would start RJF.

What are rjf's responsibilities in the colts defense and which of those did he not do well?
