He's on steroids... Trust me!! Ray Lewis did it but not that bad.

I've been on steroids before under doctors prescription. And I would cry and get emotional. Yes I'm a guy. It also made me really hungry. I could eat like 2 meals for breakfast, 2 meals for lunch and 2 for dinner...

Those were some big tears....there were several times in high school that I would get emotional before a big game. Some guys throw up, some guys sleep, and some have so much emotion building up inside just the slightest thing sets them off. It wasn't every game but sometimes I would be so intent...so jacked that it would happen. Your body just has to let it out...and he did it through some tears...and then on the field a few moments later. Seemed pretty natural to me...surprised I don't see it more often. When your that emotionally charged its just natural to release it some how...the littlest things can set it off.

I've been drunk before and became emotionally and cried, and yes I'm a guy too. It made me do some crazy things, especially Hennessy and Tequila on wild nights when you wake up and can't remember what you did while your room mate laughs hysterically recalling your behavior.

Seriously...why can't a man cry? Yes he's a guy...I get it, I cry too, we all do...well, most of us without the illusion of "real men don't cry". It is a normal thing, we're all human beings...it don't make you a bad person that you aren't a heartless being and can actually get emotional and cry. Just because a man actually cries over something he's on steroids....puhleeze.

    • I hope we keep Toppin, I didn't think we would. Paul George went to Philly for 4 years/212 Mill, so now we have them to deal with as well besides Boston, NY, and Milwaukee. I thought we were better than Philly before the George deal, not sure now.
    • Thank you for your response and thank you for enlightening myself regarding Partridge. I recall his signing but didn't know much about him until I joined this forum and read several of your posts speaking highly of him. Thank you!  I have researched him since then and have to agree with you, it is likely that his fingerprints were on this signing.    Davis' contract is such that there is no guaranteed money in his 2nd year, with a cap savings of nearly 6.5 million, so there is an out if needed. https://overthecap.com/player/raekwon-davis/8796    I have to think that his main responsibility is as Grover's back up...we all saw how much he was missed last season. Though, this is where Partridge comes in, there may be additional duties. One thing that struck me was when Partridge said (paraphrased) "that he could get Grover some more sacks.". Does that mean he plans to alter the DL scheme, and if so, could the same benefit apply to Davis? Not to mention @Douzer's thoughts of using both Davis and Grover on 3rd and short plus goal line situations...like you said, I am looking forward to watching it play out as well.
    • I'm not saying he is about to be a sack machine but you can see some of his potential as a one gap penetrator with that frame.
    • Davis came from Alabama. My point of interest as the writer highlighted is he is moving from being a 2 gapper into now only being responsible for a single gap with a lot more penetration from him versus read and react. With his length and power at 6ft 7 300 plus the expectation for him in our scheme is he will be more disruptive. A much more reliable option for us if Grover goes down in addition to whatever else maybe we can do with him.
    • Thank you. You guys are too kind, but I truly appreciate the support.    Perhaps I am being too hard on myself… But my point still stands that anyone who makes it to the NFL, whether practice squad or starter, has achieved something prestigious that only a rare few ever achieve.    Over a million high schoolers play. Of those only 7.8 percent move on to play in college.    Over 80,000 people play in college. Only 0.4 percent make it to opening day in the NFL.    Only 2,016 players make it to NFL rosters.
