Woodward if cant go or cant play full speed is a big loss , it showed last week Vs Jaxsonville, he is Team Captain and has the mic to call the defensive plays , g he is good tackler and in pass coverage as Mid LB

I think L:uck should exploit Wayne over the middle Vs a rusty Bailey

Woodyard to the broncos is like freeman to us. Just a short thought

excellent point, if anything though woodward more important, but with millers return extra pressure if not rusty

balances some of woodward , but do agree Butler at times is extra special , he jas good hand for IT's,

no amtter what i say attack the middle with quick paasees and occasional send ty long to keep them off balance

Every interview I have seen Woodyard says he is playing for what it is worth. I've seen 2 this week. Last week without him the defense was brutal but only allowed 12 points (Peyton had a pick 6) most importantly the defense was also missing Von and Ayers. I think this game will be very, very good. Not because of the media circus but because these are very good football teams. It will be interesting to see how each side of the ball responds to the other teams.

Yes he tends to  always say that, Just read

Fox on Woodward -- linebacker Wesley Woodyard as limited and questionable. He said whether Woodyard plays will probably be a game-time decision.

espn thinks Woodyard will play.

Linebacker Wesley Woodyard (neck) also took part in Friday’s practice on a limited basis and was formally listed as questionable for the game. If Woodyard doesn’t suffer any setbacks, he is expected to play.

“He’s definitely further ahead this week,’’ Fox said.

fleener needs to have a huge game

If he Shows up that is. He is very inconsistent and still needs to learn to catch the ball when thrown his way. I've seen to many dropped passes by Fleener since his debut as a Colt. I too hope he has a big day, the Colts are really lacking on the TE support since Allen went out. Maybe this Sunday Coby can alter my views and bring a little more faith in his production for this team.

Woodyard is a very good MLB and covers a lot of ground, the man is very fast for a MLB.  Miller coming back is huge for them but might not be in game shape so might get gassed quickly.

I would agree except that during his suspension Von worked out with a pass rush specialist every single day. He has dropped fat and put on muscle. Apparently this pass rush specialist (who is the best in the business) lived with him and worked him hard. I think the tough thing for the Colts O is that there is no film this season on Von. No one knows what he will be like with Phillips as opposed to Doom. Though nothing can create an actual game situation, I think he put in time to be as ready as he possibly can be.

if Miller is as Rusty as Bailey last week it wont matter

to hear him talk he says best shape of life, just as fast yet dropped some body fat % while putting on 15 pounds of muscle since start of TC as was just working out with trainers

I am not great at posting links but I will try....FYI I got it and my info from the Broncos board newswire section. :)

Here is the piece about Von: "During his suspension, linebacker Von Miller has been working out privately with noted pass-rush specialist Chuck Smith. "I've never seen Von Miller have a trainer before," Harris said. "He usually goes with the God-given ability he has. Now that he has a trainer, it's scary." Miller's suspension will be lifted first thing Monday morning. ... The Broncos will honor retired Rockies star Todd Helton in a pregame ceremony Sunday. Helton will serve as an honorary team captain during the coin flip. ... The Indianapolis Colts are planning to pay tribute to quarterback Peyton Manning before Manning and the Broncos kick off their Oct. 20 game at Indy."

For one week, not every day. However he's certainly left the impression that he's primed to go - which is what he promised before the suspension.

Not to mention against the Cowboys. If Woodyard (and Ayers amongst others) hadn't been injured that game might well have turned into more of a blowout as well.

I am sorry if I was incorrect. I just posted the article and took during his suspension as meaning the entire duration. I really try and post accurate material. Again, I apologize.. :(

EXCERPS of

October 16 article

all 270 pounds of him.

That's how much Miller said he weighed in at this week, a good 24 pounds heavier than when he won Defensive Rookie of the Year honors in 2011.  ((( he has saaid 15 pounds since starting TC this year in another place  , maybe 15 from last year )))

Miller has long wanted to gain weight because he figures it will help him overpower offensive linemen. Six weeks of watching games on his TV gave him that chance, although by all accounts he was far from a couch potato during his banishment for violating the league's drug-abuse policy.

Miller said he had no trouble with the extra muscle or the altitude because he served his suspension working with the Broncos' trainers, a nutritionist and a personal pass rush specialist so that his cardiovascular conditioning wouldn't be an issue upon his return.

"I feel good. I'm in the best shape of my life," Miller said. "I feel a lot stronger, quicker, faster. It's not like I'm running 100 yards or 400 yards there, so I definitely felt good. All the feedback I was getting from my teammates and everybody looked like I was good. There was a hurry-up period in there that was tough, but that's what it's designed to be is tough."

"He's going to make a huge difference," cornerback Chris Harris said. .........

"I feel stronger just all around, mentally, physically, all around," Miller said. "When you don't have to worry about nothing, it's just football, it's a whole lot easier. I've been studying and everything. I just feel good. I've said it before. I'm in a great place physically and mentally."

Miller said he's been "paying attention in meetings, even more so than I would do normally. But I was ready to go. I wanted to make sure when I came back that I wasn't a step behind. If anything, I've been conditioning and working out and doing everything possible to get myself ready for practice and the games."

Miller also spent a week during his suspension working with renowned pass-rush specialist Chuck Smith, a former defensive end with the Atlanta Falcons.

"Definitely working with a guy that focuses on pass rush, especially for me while I had all this time off to focus on that, it was instrumental," Miller said. "He didn't try to change me; he just helped me."

True , ayers will definitely be back , Woodward most likely , how effective remains to be seen, Bailey was a disappointment to himself last wek he said, Wayne should do well Vs him

Have to leave now,

Go Colts , but dont hurt Peyton, & miller dont touch Luck

Before I go i just found this   Colts will honor Manning before the game with a video tribute --

that just may make Peyton too emotional for his own good, gamesmanship, u really do this as have for others at time after they are done playing the game

He says he was choked up from book of Manning

maybe Irsaay has that all in mind this week , any edge is an edge he may have thought, this may do it,

and block the media story lines that  could of awoken a sleeping bear as Yamamoto said after peral harbor

If Irsay really wanted to make Peyton an emotional wreck before the game, he shouldn't have let the word out that they were going to honor Peyton.  It should have been a big surprise.

I find it hard to believe that Peyton will watch it. I think there are rigid rules about when the teams come out, and Peyton of course will be concentrating on pre-game prep. It's not like Irsay can force both teams to come out early and stand on the sidelines for - what is it - 22 minutes? It's really pretty nuts. He can do what he wants to entertain the fans before the event starts, but this makes no sense.

Ha vent heard length, know Peyton likes to practice x minutes, then stop x minutes before game, ( for sme reason the # 14 minutes each stick in my mind buit dont really know )  he said was a problem with Ravens game as lightning storm and tried to do a few times every time said were coming out but in end final practice only 5 minutes

not sure what u say makes no sense my statement or the tribute

I wish the tribute & the coments made this weekl were at another time, the tribute once he retired and the comments whenever

I just want to watch a classic game with no hoopla surrounding it

The tribute will take place after the Broncos are introduced and take their place on the sideline. The Colts still will be waiting in the tunnel.  ---   ( i just dont think thats right to do  esp if its 22 minutes ?? )

Previous videos, about a minute in length, have been shown during the returns of Jeff Saturday, Edgerrin James, Nick Harper, David Thornton, Marcus Washington, Kelvin Hayden and Brandon Stokley.

The 22 minutes was being tossed around as if it was common knowledge. I hope it's wrong. What I stated was that makes no sense for Irsay to be able to force Peyton to change his pre-game routine. It might influence the outcome. What gives him the right? Why don't the freaking Broncos just say NO. I didn't read the links, but the way you have described it just sounds patently absurd. I can't imagine that the Colts want to be standing in the tunnel for all that time either. WTH. Do whatever you want - in advance of the scheduled game time - when the teams are in the locker room. A few minutes of cheers after the introductions is to be expected. This is over the top.
