Mike Holmgren upset. Would have walked out. "How do you make your team better by trading your best player?"

That's the most glowing endorsement yet the Colts made a good trade. It's worth re-mentioning from Dustin's topic that Holmgren would have traded the entire 2012 draft to us for Andrew Luck, so Holmgren may not be the best evaluator for all this in the first place.

Actually, that would of been a great move more MH and the Browns. Get a franchise QB and build around. Getting a franchise QB is probably the most important thing to success in the NFL.

Umm any team that needed a QB would have traded their entire draft for Andrew Luck and thought they where getting a steal for it.

You have to remember that the two #1's and a #2 that the skin's gave up for RG3 is more valuable then someone trading their entire draft.  And you would have a hard time finding a person who thought the trade for RG3 was bad for the Redskins.

Andrew Luck I think is the better prospect long term.  You could have probably found teams who would have traded all of this year's draft and all of next year's draft for him.

The dude made a really bad call on Weeden, but trading an entire draft to get Luck would have been a good call.  But we where not going to trade that pick.

Ibcant wait to see Trent play and see what he can do. He will be a top 5 back in the league.

No, he won't. That doesn't mean that he isn't talented. It means the offensive line is not good enough to do that and we won't run the ball enough for him to be a top five. He has to gain like 1400 yards to get there. He won't do that in Indy. He may have a good combined yardage total but the Colts are, have been and will continue to be a passing team.

To be fair on Weeden, he's going to get hosed this year just like we hosed Orlovsky when we kept him on the bench for Painter. Playing him makes it too risky that Cleveland finishes without the worst record in the league and doesn't wind up with Bridgewater.

I actually feel bad for Weeden in all of this- I've seen rookie QB's look far more out of their depth than he did and still get more than 1 year to show their stuff. Rookie struggles were there, but he still threw for more TD's than INT's with one of the worst WR corps in the league. Now, even if they do play him again, dude's going to get slaughtered anyways. Tough break.
