I have taken a calculated gamble in all three of my fantasy leagues this season and drafted Allen very late as my starting tight end. This allowed me to fill up at other positions. I believe Allen will be our main threat from the tight end position this season.

Mr. Allen was on the Pat McAfee show too. The guy seems like a pretty cool cat... and I think will have a great season. I'm not a big fan of Rome.

I ignored TE's early in my fantasy draft (we draft late July before any preseason games) and gambled late on Dwayne Allen and Julius Thomas. Stacked my team with rb's and wr's early. Started Thomas tonite because of Allen's injury concerns but expect Dwayne to be on full cyclinders by week 3 or 4.
