Who do you think are the 2 most critical people that we could hope would come off of the PUP or recovering, or hurt recently, and come back for the first game of the season? In other words, we need to beat the raiders in a bad way to get the big "mo" going into an even better opponent the following week, we need our guys healthly

Allen and Bradshaw are two I think. Allen for obvious reasons.

To be honest, I think the answer is No One.  I'd rather have Allen, Bradshaw, Landry and Lefeged take their time and not rush back for opening day.  It's not how you start, it's how you finish.  Baltimore can attest to that.

Looks like Allen will practice this week... Landry and Angerer are cleared to play.. I don't think Bradshaw will miss the opener.. As long as we dont see any more costly injuries, I feel like we are going to be pretty healthy for Oakland...

 

  Moala is a guy who'd I'd like to get back for Oakland... I'd like to get Thornton and Holmes healthy so they can get preseason work in..

Yeah, it was tough to choose between Bradshaw and Allen.  To me Landry is the clear #1.  He will help out so much with the run D if he's as advertised.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Thorton and Holmes.  I really want to see what these to guys can do to help our offense.  I'm really high or Thorton and really skeptical about Holmes, but I want to see what they can do.

Everyone on the pup list or who is injured will be there week 1

No need to panic, we'll be fine. Now if they're on the IR then obviously they won't be there week 1. But everyone else will be there week 1

As much as I'd like to see what Thorton and Holmes can do, they won't see game time until they get substantial reps in practice and or mop-up duty.
