chad72
Come on. Here is the pattern. A lot of GMs chimed in on the Colts pick on NFL Network/ESPN as well including Pioli and Polian. They said that most of the guys signed early are those that are good value guys, high character guys, low injury young guys that teams will have less risk signing. Those are the guys you want to sign early, the ones that are low risk and medium to high reward. If you notice, a lot of big name ones are still around because they are higher risk for the team wallet with the same medium to high reward. If you can get a bargain on them later in the week, you strive for that. For example, Richard Seymour. No mention of his name on day 1. The risk is, he is 33, and so if we can sign him to a bargain 2 or 3 yr. deal at the end of the week, will I complain? Absolutely no.

Old Colt
What a letdownSad???? How can you be "Sad". If you are a true Colts fan; you have a team that went from 2-14 to 11-5. a Qb that has just started to get used to the NFL. More important you have a GM who refuses to go for splash, but for hungry team players with big upsides at a reasonable cost. You want to be sad, go be a fan of the Jaguars or better yet the Browns. the Browns got the big splash names, wanna bet who has a better record.... the Colts or the browns this season, next season, next 10 years! Tark The Shark
People just need to calm down. Grigson is going according to his plan, not the fans. It worked last year, and I have no doubt it will work this year.
