Manning stayed an hour and a half after the Broncos/Ravens game with his family to congratulate Ray Lewis on the win.

 

I assume the kid is Peyton's son, but that's just a guess

That's what you would guess Manning was like, Supe....

its so odd....He and Ray are nothing alike...but they actually seem to like each other....

If you dont like somebody..,.you dont wait around after the game after they just beat you..just to talk

I love the suits and ties too....like two working men at the office...

these are 'old school' guys....

It'll be sad when they're gone

Great pic.  Mutual respect between these guys.  Peyton is a class act. Ray has always had nothing but good things to say about Peyton over the years.  This is probably a large part as to why.

Happy for both those guys - Ray for getting one last run in, and Peyton for having the season he did after his surgeries. Good stories each in their own right.

It's funny how mean joe just throws his nasty, dirty towel on the kid after the kid gives him a coke.

I didnt like the outcome..but this will go down as one of the NFL's greatest ever playoff games

considering how it ended and who played in it.

Manning came over to Lewis on the field right after the game, and right when he was going into his live TV interview, so he didn't get a chance to say much. Very cool that he hung around for an hour-and-a-half just to chat him up. Respect, mutually...

Well, my Playoff predictions are way off this year. Who knows the Ravens make it all the way to the SB...I have great respect for both men. 2 1st ballot HOF players hands down. Nice behind the scenes moment.

I smell another manufactured story - I doubt very much Peyton hung around 90 minutes just to go meet up with Ray Lewis!    Likely was there for other reasons and bumped into one another ;)
