Guy quit on Iowa after his freshman year even though he was an in state product.  

 

Not a fan.  Can't believe the Bronco's are giving up a 5th for someone who's never recorded an NFL catch.

Every 5th round rookie ever taken has never recorded an NFL catch.

Not a rookie, he was drafted in 2015.

This is pretty sad. We could of traded Dwayne Allen for a 2nd or 3rd to the Broncos if Derby fetched a 5th. Missed opportunity here.

I know that.  But it's the same as drafting a tight end in the fifth round or any other round.   None of then have ever caught a  nfl pass

Honestly I don't think so. Elway wouldn't want to be saddled with Allen's contract.

we need  Dwayne Allen.......we cant be trading him to anybody..much less an AFC playoff team

I honestly think Doyle is much better at this point. Only thing we'd miss is his blocking, and that's replaceable. Would rather have the 2nd or 3rd rounder, but that's just my opinion.

Kinda have to disagree. Now I would agree if he plays like he did early in his career BUT lately half the time he's injured and other half he's underperforming.

Except he was drafted at the end of the 6th.  What has he done in the meantime to make the Bronco's think he's worth a 5th rounder a year later.

Pretty sure he was waived injured after Training Camp in 2015.  He was injured that year.
