Decided to do this (not just for this site

:) ). It's a bracket. You pick the players that are/were your favorite and I'll mark it down and in a week, we'll tally the scores and make the 2nd round. The way you vote is you can either write (1. Peyton Manning, 2 Johnny Unitas, 30. Quinton Coryatt, 4. Reggie Wayne... etc) or you can reply to this and bold the ones that you like. Either or is fine.

Have fun!

I have Madden 08 that I play on 'Franchise Mode' and I'm currently in year 2025.

I hate to tell you, but not only did he not show up in the draft in 2012, but he hasn't shown up at all.

:(

EDGERRINN JAMES!!!!! 32

Arguable, could have definitely been on there. Probably wouldn't changed the list drastically, or even make it out of the first round.

Can you please vote!!

James would easily be top 5.

Sanders, Stokley, Pollard, Clark.... All more deserving than the Baltimore Colts, or some of the ones up there...

Contest has been tainted.

It deserves to wear the Patriots logo.

If anything I'd prefer my vote to eliminated after seeing how many names have been left off.

Come on, don't be stubborn and immature.

I don't want to start a whole new 25,000 word argument like we did a couple of months, but you have to realize that the players from the Balimore Colts days are legends and were dearly loved by the fans back then.

Yes, leaving Edge off was a little silly, but let's be honest, it doesn't make the biggest difference. I would have put him at 11 or 12 and he would have been against Marshall or Dilger.

Oh and Clark is on it... Pollard and Stokely don't deserve to be on it. I see that you are clearly a 2000's Colts fan.

Let's not be crazy people...

No arguments necessary and I'm not being immature. To me it's an invalid list and I want no part of it.

No, I'm not a 2000's colts fan, but I am not a Baltimore Colts fan. But to have some of the those names up there when Edgerrin James isn't. Yet Rhodes is?

It's called commonsense...

End of discussion.

Fine, if it's really bothering you so much, because one player was left off this list and some old living legends were left on, then fine don't vote.

Badger me all you want for leaving Edge off it, but it doesn't make a big difference.

Invalid list? You're funny.

How does dom and dickerson make the top 32 but no edge.. And quinton coryatt and no Jeff Herrod? Im pretty sure bob irsay will also receive no votes. and why are 2 owners and a coach on a list of favorite players?

We already went over Edge, a slip up and he wasn't on the list. I don't think he makes a huge difference. You guys seem to care a lot, so I'll redo the brackett.

This isn't a players list. It just says players, but I meant to say people. I thought people would understand the difference.

MOD TAKE DOWN THIS THREAD, SO I CAN RECREATE IT!!

Why would you put Brooks against Faulk and Mathis against Jones in round one? To me that is like putting Manning against Unitas right off the bat. Like the thread though.

    • Id like to see more QB designed runs and stuff with options to run or pass. However I don't half way blame them for pressing pocket passing either bc at some point you know JT is going to get hurt. Might as well let AR get his feel for the pocket early in the season. Say what you want but plenty of guys are open. He's just got to place and complete the pass properly. So far hasn't been happening but we will keep trying until things improve I guess
    • But I think Adebaware is a better 3T than him. He's getting better and better.
    • Do people really think his progression should be a graph line going steadily upward? Really? Seven games. It's going to be up and down. Two steps forward, one step back. Sometines, one step forward, three steps back. Especially for a guy who is about as raw as they come. Fans better expect it.
    • I’m glad our team didn’t have the bears body language. At least they were encouraging AR on his mistakes. Williams on the other seemed like he is already on the hot seat and teammates are getting tired of it.
    • I will say this. AR imo threw the ball much MUCH better in his 4 games last year compared to his first 3 this year.  Not even close.   I have to believe a lot of that is due to him being unable to practice much on his mechanics until August or so.  Remember even during spring practice he was complaining of a sore shoulder and had to take some time off.   I fully believe that once he is totally over his injury that he will be able to take the extra reps needed to get back into a way of throwing without having to think so much.   I play a sport at a highly competitive level, won't say which one, but I broke my thumb this spring and I just now am start to get back into the swing of things.  But I am not even close to where I was before I broke it.
