Dr. T

Winner of the 2012 Colts Draft Contest!

Recommended Posts

Out of 48 contestants (25 from Colts.com, 13 from Coltpower, 8 from Colts Thunder and 2 from RATS), The winner is cedjss from ColtPower who picked Fleener, Allen and Chapman for a total of 10 points!

Although he got no points for it, he also predicted Pellerin, which we got for a FA.

However, a special tip of the hat MUST be made to TheOrangeBuddha, also from Coltpower. Although he only earned 9 points, he nailed FOUR picks total: Fleener, Hilton, Ballard and Chapman. AMAZING job!!! :worthy:

It looks like Coltpower had the best GMs this year! For the rest of us, better LUCK next year.

Who won from colts.com? That is the only thing I am curious to know since I do not frequent the other ones. :)

The winner at Colts.com was jvan1973. His 8 points for Fleener and Allen on Day two held strong!

I want to know if anyone won Irsay's contest. There is no way anyone could have predicted all of those first round trades

I totally predicted New England would trade up not once, but twice in the 1st round. I saw that coming a mile away.

Nope, he said nobody won. Seeing as you didn't need to predict teams, just the order players were picked, I think the Irvin pick would have eliminated the few people that made it that far.

    • Kevin Bowen mentioned on his podcast today he was impressed with Fromm, TUA, and Love in there pressers yesterday. He also like Anthony Gordon. He mentioned he thought Jacob Eason acted like he was to good to be there. I got the same vibe when I watched his presser.
    • I mean at the end of the day, what's this mean?  Absolutely nothing.  You can't really trust anything anyone says and yet everyone relies on tidbits from the scouts, player personnel and GMs.  You can glean stuff about what they say about how someone does well or not well on the field and things like that.  Maybe they say he's a day 1 or 2 pick.  All that is probably reliable or at least half true.    "Overrated" is one of those unquantifiable words that means nothing.   Overrated compared to what?  Most people would look at projections and see, maybe he's mocked at #15 on average, and they hear overrated, and now all the sudden he's dropped down 50 spots on half the mock drafts.  Maybe others just drop him 10-20 spots.  That's a very subjective moving target to apply it in a meaningful way.   If you like the guy, you get him when its reasonable to do so given all the work you've done ordering your draft board.
    • Phillip Dorsett with Tom "The Greatest Quarterback of All-time" Brady as his quarterback vs Zach Pascal with Jacoby Brissett as his quarterback. Zack Pascal was undrafted free agent while Phillip Dorset was a first round pick of the Grigson-led Indianapolis Colts.   https://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=1&player_id1_hint=Phillip+Dorsett&player_id1_select=Phillip+Dorsett&fromyear_1=2019&toyear_1=2019&player_id1=DorsPh00&idx=players&player_id2_hint=Zach+Pascal&player_id2_select=Zach+Pascal&fromyear_2=2019&toyear_2=2019&player_id2=PascZa00&idx=players
