That doesn't predict the future.   That's a stat like many others that will at some point no longer be a fact.

Here’s to hoping Burrow is the one to break it. But I’m biased lol.

I'm hoping their MetLife trips for the nyj and nyg are in the warmer months for when I attend.

That January Giants game with Nick Folk was freezing.

Oh you had to bring that game back from the inner mechanisms of my fragile mind…

2 more streaks that must end this year! Opening Day Win and finally witness a win at Jacksonville!

Hearing the “Duvallllllll” chant is like nails on a chalkboard

I'm an east coast fan and I remember I kept going to opening day for many years during the Peyton years and we had a great opening day record.

We can't buy a win on opening day anymore... It's brutal.

It just shows how much harder it is to get back there once you’ve lost the first one. Not sure why that’s been a star but there may be something to it.

Yep they do play broncos but they don’t have a rookie HC. My guess if correct it would be the Pats. Drake Maye or Jacoby.

Be some interesting storylines running all week heading into that matchup, especially if it’s Jacoby starting.

This is a post I make every season.

What I look for when the schedule is revealed:    In no particular order.

** Where do the Colts open and close tge season
** Bad weather games.  Too hot/humid or cold

** where is the toughest stretch of schedule

** where is the easiest stretch of schedule

** when is the bye week

Hope this helps.

Thinking out loud….

17 games, the Colts got 9 at home last year, so we’ve got 9 on the road this year.

Not very worried about bad weather games from the Jags, Houston or Tenn.

But in the remaining 6 games,  FIVE are potential bad weather games.   The NYGiants, the NYJets, New Eng, Green Bay, and Denver.  Minnesota is a dome so no problem there.

But those other FIVE games could be cold, snow, rain, heat or even humidity.  Thinking out loud, I suppose Jax could be a concern with heat, rain, humidity.  I reversed myself on that one.  (lol).

So I’ll be looking for where those games land on the schedule.

I will say this, historically we’ve been a good team for bad weather games. Which is ironic considering we’re a dome team. But we’ve got the right personnel for bad weather, strong trenches and a workhorse running back.

Strong passing teams struggle mightily in the rain against us, thanks to Big Grove and Buck stymying the run.

At Patriots week 1 is a nice start for us, we travel to Green Bay for week 2.

Are you guessing or has that been leaked?

EDIT:  Nevermind, I saw the Stampede Blue report.  Thanks!

NY is not as safe as it was even 4 years ago

I have seen the Giants/Colts play in that stadium but not the Jets/Colts

Colts at Jets is one of my last remaining "bucket list"

Will probably miss Jets game but go to Vikings game

I love it when the Colts play in bad weather. We have the personnel for those games and usually do great in them. We will have the advantage in bad weather, even if it's away.

what time will the schedule be announced...

8p in the East.   5p in the West.

ESPN and NFL Network carry it live.   But teams will officially release their 2024 schedule to the fan base at that time on their website!

So be here looking at the front page of the website at that time with TV on in the background!    Enjoy!

Burrow will eventually win a Ring IMO, I doubt Allen will. Burrow is slightly better, and I don't see Cincy ever getting rid of Chase either. Cincy is a better ran organization than the Buffalo is going by the last 4 years.

Too many exclusive streaming games this year. I got YouTube tv and don’t have to subscribe to nfl plus anymore so this makes me mad. NFL plus you get all the exclusive games. Going to be mad if any of those are colt games.

They are all free online..

Yes.    This also helps to predict the W/L's.      I hear a lot of people just throwing out 9-8, 10-7 or 11-6 etc.  Without even seeing the schedule.

    • Id like to see more QB designed runs and stuff with options to run or pass. However I don't half way blame them for pressing pocket passing either bc at some point you know JT is going to get hurt. Might as well let AR get his feel for the pocket early in the season. Say what you want but plenty of guys are open. He's just got to place and complete the pass properly. So far hasn't been happening but we will keep trying until things improve I guess
    • But I think Adebaware is a better 3T than him. He's getting better and better.
    • Do people really think his progression should be a graph line going steadily upward? Really? Seven games. It's going to be up and down. Two steps forward, one step back. Sometines, one step forward, three steps back. Especially for a guy who is about as raw as they come. Fans better expect it.
    • I’m glad our team didn’t have the bears body language. At least they were encouraging AR on his mistakes. Williams on the other seemed like he is already on the hot seat and teammates are getting tired of it.
    • I will say this. AR imo threw the ball much MUCH better in his 4 games last year compared to his first 3 this year.  Not even close.   I have to believe a lot of that is due to him being unable to practice much on his mechanics until August or so.  Remember even during spring practice he was complaining of a sore shoulder and had to take some time off.   I fully believe that once he is totally over his injury that he will be able to take the extra reps needed to get back into a way of throwing without having to think so much.   I play a sport at a highly competitive level, won't say which one, but I broke my thumb this spring and I just now am start to get back into the swing of things.  But I am not even close to where I was before I broke it.
