I'm an east coast fan and I remember I kept going to opening day for many years during the Peyton years and we had a great opening day record. 

 

We can't buy a win on opening day anymore... It's brutal.

It just shows how much harder it is to get back there once you’ve lost the first one. Not sure why that’s been a star but there may be something to it.

Yep they do play broncos but they don’t have a rookie HC. My guess if correct it would be the Pats. Drake Maye or Jacoby.

At some point the road games have to be consecutive with 9 of them. I don’t mind if it’s at the beginning. AR on the road with his game changing flashes can take the home crowd out of it early!

Broncos Pats would be a great first 2 games on the schedule  even on the road Neither is scary in May and I don’t see it changing in September

** Where do the Colts open and close tge season
** Bad weather games.  Too hot/humid or cold

** where is the toughest stretch of schedule 

** where is the easiest stretch of schedule

** when is the bye week

Thinking out loud….  

 

17 games, the Colts got 9 at home last year, so we’ve got 9 on the road this year.   
 

Not very worried about bad weather games from the Jags, Houston or Tenn.  

 

But in the remaining 6 games,  FIVE are potential bad weather games.   The NYGiants, the NYJets, New Eng, Green Bay, and Denver.  Minnesota is a dome so no problem there.  
 

But those other FIVE games could be cold, snow, rain, heat or even humidity.  Thinking out loud, I suppose Jax could be a concern with heat, rain, humidity.  I reversed myself on that one.  (lol).   
 

So I’ll be looking for where those games land on the schedule.

I will say this, historically we’ve been a good team for bad weather games. Which is ironic considering we’re a dome team. But we’ve got the right personnel for bad weather, strong trenches and a workhorse running back. 
 

Strong passing teams struggle mightily in the rain against us, thanks to Big Grove and Buck stymying the run.

NY is not as safe as it was even 4 years ago

 

I have seen the Giants/Colts play in that stadium but not the Jets/Colts

 

Colts at Jets is one of my last remaining "bucket list"  

 

Will probably miss Jets game but go to Vikings game

I love it when the Colts play in bad weather. We have the personnel for those games and usually do great in them. We will have the advantage in bad weather, even if it's away.

ESPN and NFL Network carry it live.   But teams will officially release their 2024 schedule to the fan base at that time on their website!

Burrow will eventually win a Ring IMO, I doubt Allen will. Burrow is slightly better, and I don't see Cincy ever getting rid of Chase either. Cincy is a better ran organization than the Buffalo is going by the last 4 years.

Too many exclusive streaming games this year. I got YouTube tv and don’t have to subscribe to nfl plus anymore so this makes me mad. NFL plus you get all the exclusive games. Going to be mad if any of those are colt games.

Yes.    This also helps to predict the W/L's.      I hear a lot of people just throwing out 9-8, 10-7 or 11-6 etc.  Without even seeing the schedule.

My guess is NE. I am allright with that. They are not that good of a team. GB is a good team so that game won’t be easy.
