On a side note: To date, my overall betting with the point spreads for the NFL season has been OK. I am basically $300 ahead in winnings overall through 16 weeks, I will take it. Regarding college, I have made only 2 $100 bets all season and I have broken even. Better than being behind.

Lions 23 Cowboys 27 (I don't see the Boys losing 3 in a row)

 

My before season pick, I had the Lions making the SB out of the NFC (Lions vs Ravens were my before season SB picks). This pick has nothing to do with that one though. Lions have already clinched their division, Cowboys have lost 2 in a row, are at home, and need this win much worse than the Lions do. The Lions don't have the tiebreakers over the 49ers or Eagles either, so it would be a long shot they get the #1 seed. Browns are a no-brain pick, a win assures them that they finish 5th at worse.

Man I think I might have same picks as you for Thursday and Saturday. I would have taken lions but they have their division already and like you said cowboys probably are not losing 3 in row and boys are 7-0 at home. Hard decision I believe I will be back tomorrow and decide and hope you have your full picks. I'm going to be different for sure. Lol

Yeah if I was picking with my heart I would have took the Lions. I am just being extra smart about my picks now. I think the Lions have a better team but everything points to Dallas winning this week. If they lose 3 in a row, i would be surprised. Dallas could still win their division if they win their last 2 and Philly drops their last 2. I don't see that happening but this has been a crazy season.

Yep, this week and next week and it is over. It has been fun and competitive. A lot of people picked this season. I will keep my picks the same this week, simply because the teams I pick to win I think they will. It would be funny, if I switched all my picks and took who @chad72took (strategy) just to be a butt about it to hold my lead  but I could see him then switching to the teams I had originally which I would not blame him at all. So, I will let it play out, if I lose, I lose, hats off to the person that beats me. Moe disagreed with me on 3, can't wait to see who @EasyEpicks.

• I hope the Lions win, but I think the Cowboys win it at home.
• I have a feeling the Panther might surprise and the Jags are terrible right now. So are the Panthers though. 
• I don’t like betting against the Colts. Both the Colts and the Raiders are in a weird spot right now. The Colts should be full steam ahead, but then we collapse against the Falcons. The Raiders lose ugly then win big. Could go both ways.

Colts came through for me. I was the only one who took them out of the top 4 this week. I should not have switched to the Panthers but oh well.

I found my strategy to help the Colts. I will pick their opponents to win each week then sit at home drinking beer and rooting on the Colts..  This Colts team is a surprise, I didn't see them winning this many games so we are going in the right direction. Shane is a big upgrade and I hope he is involved a lot in the Draft and FA next season.
