No.

Look, I agree with your statement about career ending injury, but to say injuries had nothing to do with his retirement is delusional.  But choosing to retire (no matter the reason) and having a career ending injury are two separate things.

I feel pretty good in saying that AR will be 100% healthy coming into next year. His whole body should feel like a million dollars. Now he also has a little experience too in the NFL with the 4 games he played in which is bigger than a lot think. I am seeing him having a good year in 2024.

Your short changing him by a lot. I heard he's guaranteed like $34 million for his 4 year rookie contract. His body should feel a lot better than a mere million dollars. LoL

I didn't say injuries had nothing to with him wanting to retire, if that's what you're were implying/thought.

Nothing I'm saying is delusional.

Look, I respect the heck out of you as a poster. What’s happened has happened. I have no ill will towards Luck.

I hope Richardson can have success with this team for years to come, so that 2019, 2021 and 2022 eventually become just a bad dream.

When did I tell anyone how to live their life?

You Luck fans get real delusional and defensive.

To your last sentence, NO. Most people know how great Andrew Luck was. Nothing delusional about that. His stats and wins and playoff wins back that up. I hated the way he retired but people need to get over their butt hurt about it, it happened 5 years ago.

So that wasn't you?   Got it.

That was me saying , "no, I don't think they had nothing to do with his retirement."

He asked if I thought they had nothing to do with the retirement, I responded "no"

I see how it could be confusing, though, since people routinely use double negatives.

Same here, man.

I respect you too.

As annoyed as I am by AR's injury and that risk of him getting hurt running the ball in the future, all these young QBs do dumb things.  Watching this game today and seeing Levis leap head first for a first down at midfield I had to laugh.  These young guys don't realize how serious injury risk is at this level.

You just never know when it comes to injury.  Depends on whether AR is smart and disciplined enough to learn how to beat teams consistenly from the pocket.

    • Colts need to run to the outside more this game. Not up the middle with Hayward.
    • 5 to 10, let's do it again (or do it for the first time!!)
    • If they play man AR will burn them. Young QB usually struggle with zone as we seen last week.  You are correct. You run towards watt. That’s how we neutralized him last season.   This doesn’t seem like it will be the week where the secondary is tested but if Kenny cant go it could be different. Our dline depth is being tested.
    • The NFL is a passing league.  Running is for killing the clock, for which you need to have a running game/RB powerful enough to run the ball when the opposing D knows you are going to run the ball.  Teams don't really need a big play running game. That is a separate issue from ARs play.   Since last year was a throw away year that followed a 4-12 season to focus on ARs development , that we did not get, this year should be that year.  Why would there be any complaints about that?   But, there needs to be better time of possession so AR can get more reps, not because we should be winning games in a season where we still don't have good enough personnel to contend for anything beyond a weak AFC South division title.
    • Good work, I dont agree with a few things, but thanks for the read   IMHO   We have depth for future and current very good OL We have depth and good starters at WR I THINK that we have 2-3 decent players at TE   I see our same 5 next year on OL   2 Years from now? The rookies this year will fill in     On Defense   We need interior DL help in the draft next year I hope we go early and get a blue chip   After week 1 and 2, I was ready to dump both LBs Week 3 they both played better, but I am ready for some new players in the offseason   I admit I was wrong about our safety room. Our two starters are decent players We need depth   At CB we need to add depth as well, And if a stud CB is available in round 2 or 3, I am fine with it       I really feel bad for Pittman, he needs an accurate QB to shine   Maybe AR can become that guy   (I hope)
