That is who I drafted for the Giants in the second round of the mock draft on the Vikings site. I drafted Zay Flowers in the first of that mock draft.

He’s really good too. Has great tape against Jalen Carter and Mazzi Smith.

With the 58th pick of the NFL draft, The Dallas Cowboys select:

Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE, Kansas State

Mike McCarthy and Dan Quinn love DL depth and this will also serve as the eventual DeMarcus Lawrence replacement for the Cowboys. Perfect fit for Dan Quinn's D.

Sorry. It was my fault. I told him he can post his comment any time. That could have been understood as "any time until 7PM tomorrow".

I was just giving him a hard time. Just playful ribbing, nothing to worry about. :)

I know. I just thought I should take responsibility for that. I don't think he took it personally. This is all fun.

In real life, I'm hoping he falls to the Broncos at 67 or 68. I was wondering when he'd go.

I have to sign out to focus on work. I start today in a couple of hours but I want to get some things done.

@VikingsFanInChennai is probably busy trying to make more trades. He has 4 picks coming up.

You have two picks coming up for the Broncos?

With pass rushers being a premium in the NFL nowadays, it would be a miracle if he gets out of Round 2, IMO. The playoff teams like the Bills, Bengals, Ravens, Jaguars, Eagles, 49ers, Chiefs, Cowboys are always bolstering their pass rush depth to keep up with the best QBs and teams in their conference.

No, I live in Colorado and am a Bronco fan in real life (2nd team). Not the GM of them this year.

Yep, they may be in the same predicament as last year when only Nik Bonitto fell to them.

I'm up next once @VikingsFanInChennai either trades back again or makes a pick correct?

Yes. If for some reason a pick is not made and you need to step away, send me a message. You can send me a list with two names, as you are second to pick. If your first choice is taken, the you or I can post your second choice.

Time to get to work. I'm going to have another cup of coffee.

The Cincinnati Bengals continue to bolster their defense after a disappointing finish to last year resulted in missing a 2nd straight Super Bowl appearance.

With the 60th overall draft pick in the 2023 Gavin's Mock Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select:

Christopher Smith II, S, Georgia.

haha I'm almost ready for dinner.

What's for dinner?

Last week I visited someone who is 90 years old and homebound. He once told me that he missed having a particular dish from a German restaurant located not too far from where he lives. So, I ordered it and had it delivered. It was called Sauerbraten. He enjoyed it.

The dish of Germany! We have a large German heritage population in Southeast Indiana / Greater Cincinnati region. This dish is fairly common around here, but we usually just call it steak and gravy lol...

With the 61st overall draft pick in 2023 Gavin's mock draft, Seattle Seahawks select

Zach Charbonnet, RB, UCLA

@runthepost Philadelphia Eagles are on the clock now.

He'll be a day one starter IMO. I like the pick there. Team him up with Kenneth Walker now that Penny is gone.

Today we had some kind of carpaccio made of beetroot with greek cheese and some bread.

We eat lots of vegetables at the time (though we already ate lots of before) because my wife is pregnant (next gen of colts fans in the making).

With the departure of Bradberry Eagles select

Julius Brents CB Kansas State with the 62nd pick

Nice pick, I almost went with him as well. Couldn’t pass up the Georgia kid though after seeing him play a few times this year.

Best decision I could possibly make was getting a puppy last Feburary. She's kept me in a good place for the last year+.

No other creature will give you such unconditional love. My family has been happier and healthier since we got our Corgi. Cute GIF
