Rams were not letting him get past pick 69. So both guys go just ahead of us. It would have been b2b o- tackles for rams but they need more than one to protect stafford

That happens when you trade away a true shutdown cb and have no 1st rd pick. They might double up on cb in this draft still they need the help

Very true. There's lots of CBs left where you can double up if you want. You couldn't afford to pass on the position.

Wrong team.. this was rams talk. But since you are asking about lions.. okudah was drafted by the previous gm and was not going to have his 5.th yr option and they signed 3 cbs in free agency. They got what they could for him.
