Texans moving on from HC David Culley

Culley was really unpopular in Houston, this might be for the fans.  check out their reddit if you want to see what a fan base going off on a coach and gm all year long looks like

It’s after 3 in the West.

 

After 5 in Texas.

 

After 6 in Indiana.   So far, there are no headlines saying Culley has been fired.  
 

He still has his job, as of now.

Fans can be ridiculous. What could he have done in this situation? He should have never accepted this job. There is so much dysfunction there.

Well….  A badly run franchise continues to be badly run.   Ok….  The only person I feel bad for is Davis Mills.   Right now I wish he was the Colts quarterback.

He actually had them playing hard. Which is difficult in these circumstances. Mills was also playing great. I saw it had to do with hiring assistants he wanted or something like that.

My guess, Watson is going to beat his cases and he wants Flores.  You heard it here first.

Isn’t it odd that Dave Campbell with the Lions has his job after winning less than David Culley? It’s not a good look for the league that Mike Tomlin is the only African American coach left standing after Black Monday. Who knows, if The Steelers didn’t make the playoffs, he might have been fired too???

 

Todd Bowles, Leftwich, Flores are all HC worthy candidates that should be interviewed by a lot of teams eventually.

Dolphins finally have a coach that's constantly beating the Pats and having a winning record and they cut him? I hope their next coach is awful and they have no success for years to come they deserve it.

He isn't beating 21 different cases.  He may settle,  but that isn't near the same thing

Culley is getting his remaining 17 million owed to him.     So 22 million to coach 1 year.    Pretty good payday for the guy.   I'm sure he isn't complaining

I know he didn't set the world on fire in Denver but our GM, Ballard thought highly enough of him to give him the job.
