He doesn’t need a mentor. But having a back up help breakdown film and bounce ideas off I think can be helpful.

Peyton Manning as a 2 game back-up QB for old times sake, until Chad Kelly can return from his 2 game suspension.  However, I think Denver may still have ownership of his rights.  This is a half sincere, half novelty joke thought.

I’m not surprised. He will go where he gets a 1 year $8-10 mil. As a backup. Unfortunately that’s the going rate.

With the colts cap space they can afford to over pay him for a year if that is what it takes to get him here. We do need to get a short term deal done with JB to raise his pay.  It’s not right if he is the starter only making 2 million.

I don’t get this move. They are going to resign him after week 1. Strange. He probably wouldn’t be a backup anyway.

If they hire Hoyer, Jacoby might be backing up him!...the dollars would seem OK.

I remember WISHING we could get Luck AND Kalil!  He hasn’t quite lived up to expectation, beyond his rookie year.  Guy should be in his prime right now.
