Before Philbin was the HC in Miami, he was the OC in Green Bay.    And he did a good job.   That's how he got the Dolphins job.   He was a good OC and a good OL.

 

I don't know why things didn't work out for Philbin in Indy, but Philbin is well regarded elsewhere...

I think people assumed he was going to still be an O-Line Coach. Turns out Greenbay is going to make him OC. Good luck to him.

Philbin at OC and Pettine at DC for the Pack.   Nice Combo!

Sadly, Philbin and Clyde probably would have made better OC's than anyone Chuck hired.
