You just don't get the concept of the matching salaries required in NBA trades...

If NY wanted to trade Carmelo to us they would have to take matching salaries..

.....they would then release the players with expiring contracts they didn't want.

Understand?

If you are NY would you trade Carmelo for Monta and Big Al??? Nobody would that is like us offering to trade Arthur Jones for Joe Thomas just because the salaries would match it's not an even trade nor do NY get anything out of it.

Let's also realize...Atlanta and Denver were throwing up trade offers along with Boston at the trade deadline..always s possibility they may take your idea Mark and go all in for a year and a chance to re-sign Paul with the biggest contract. Who knows maybe Clippers go all in and do some kinda three way deal or something. Paul George is the biggest player available out there...who knows it just takes one desperate GM.

LeBron is generally always gonna get a lot of calls, anymore you just have to live with it. Jordan used to get them too, so did Magic and Larry LOL. Warriors just need to make sure Irving doesn't go off. Irving is really the main key to the Cavs having a chance in this series. When he scores over 30 the Cavs are nearly unbeatable.

the 3 point shot also keeping cavs in the game.. but I fully believe one of the qts the warriors are going to turn the heat up a tad on defense. let LeBron score don't let kyrie get in the paint.. its an automatic two once he steps in the yellow. his layups are like 150/100 rating

Cavs have a lot of unexpected guys that can get hit from 3 too, guys you wouldn't expect too like Shumpert and Jefferson for example LOL. Hell Jefferson is my age isn't he?

    • I'm very interested in Carlie's as well.  I'm just not sold on our starting LB core.
    • I also forgot to say I think Buffalo will also have a down year.
    • Yeah North.....maybe I got confused about the Pittsburgh Pirates playing in the central.  But I think before realignment there were only 3 divisions, I think.. Like the Colts and Dolphins played in the East, the Raiders and Broncos played in the West and the Steelers and Brownies played in the Central.  But yeah my mistake the Steelers currently in the North division.
    • I just wanted to give Pitt some love for his recent comments about Indy and family values. I also loved what he said about focusing on the long term financially and considering the situation youre in. He appreciates his place in the organization and that speaks volumes about him as a man. The Texans can have guys like Diggs, Im happy with Pitt. Just a top notch dude.    This is a place a lot of people love to hate on, for some reason. But he is living proof that all this rhetoric about how "nobody wants to live in Indiana" is just bonafied baloney. So many former players stick around here after retirement. There is a reason for that.    He is the exact kind of person you would think wouldnt like it here. Rich california kid whose father played in the NFL. Lives on a little farm in Indiana with his wife, who is also from California. And they both love it here.    Those huge cities are very over rated and it isnt for everyone. We just have to find people like Pitt who do and allow them to become pillars of the franchise.
    • "I think he flashed last year and can add some value to the LB room."  And I also responded directly to the LB room question. I will simplify, he has a looooow ceiling.   So what's the Problem, why argue?
