Everything you posted point to the D being the reason....

The point is that it don't (bleeping) matter!

Pep is gone, this is the OC we have for the rest of the year.

The team is winning, It Don't (Bleeping) MATTER!

Go buy some Preparation-H it may help with your pain.

You sure are doing some strong arguing about an OC who had to use a back up quarterback today along with a line that wasn't blocking neither against the run or pass. The deep passing game wasn't even available and he is using somebody else's offensive playbook yet you seem to gloss over these things and ask why we did not just come out and explode against one of the better defensive teams in the NFL. It's not even an offense he installed and you're ready to argue everybody down this fast?

They are not as good as they look on paper

NO       385 and 31 points  LOSS

Tenn    256 yds and 7 points WIN

Tampa 496 and 23 points LOSS

SF       318 yds and 17 points LOSS

Ind       375 24 points   LOSS

Pretty safe to say they are not playing that well right now

How can you be certain that Hasselbeck didn't expect him to run a different route than he was supposed to run? I'm not saying one is wrong or the other, but I find it hard to believe you would know this unless it was said post game.

I couldn't tell who it was, but they showed the replay and it looked to me like somebody was supposed to keep running and they stopped. Thus why the WR was not in the same area as the pass.

The offense was floundering and the team was losing, there was a need for a change.

A message needed to be sent to the locker room, Perform or heads are gonna roll.

Pep may have been a bit of a scapegoat, but Luck was not going to be fired.

I see a lot more fire from the offense under Chud, even if it is still not yet efficient.

Bottom line in the NFL is wins, scoring more points than the other team.

So far Chud is 2-0 as OC, whatever it takes. We will see how the rest of the season goes.

Pep has been discussed to death, I don't see the point of reviving this thread to compare to Chud and how he is dealing with a tough situation.

It seems you have an issue with Pep being fired...

Get over it, It Don't (bleeping) Matter

Edit: Don't need to justify Chud...

The FO chose him going forward, so be it.

I'm done here, thank you very much!

I heard people say Pep was a scapegoat on TV and even read it on Twitter!! Has to be true.

I don't understand why the media was running with that nonsense. How stupid do you have to be to think Pep shouldn't have been fired, or was a scapegoat? One of the most *ic things I've heard the Indianapolis sports media run with.
