Here's a fact: This sentence doesn't make any sense in relation to what I said.

It sure does.  You said it would be ridiculous if Luck was on the list.  He isn't so you can make any claim you want.  I can say it's more likely that you would be supporting his inclusion there.

After seeing Wilson beat Peyton I refuse to vote. In my mind the person who was the greatest QB of all time has been eliminated so there is very little point in me continuing.

If anything he should have at least made it into the 2nd round.  In my opinion, he is top 5.  But if he lost to Rodgers in the 2nd round or to Brady in the 3rd, whatever. I can swallow that, even if I disagree.  But to lose to a 2nd year QB who won a superbowl on the back of the best defense in the past 20 years?  Yeah, let's crown him already as better than Manning.  Ain't nobody got time for that brand of stupid.

They purposely paired him with Wilson for that reason. I guess all of Seattle voted in this.

Which why I wouldn't mind it if Rodgers or Brady beat him.  It is, after all, a popularity contest.  But even popularity contests have its limits in teh sense that you don't go full re---- just to vote your favorite.  There has to be some modicum of common sense.

Wait a second it's a joke Russel beat Peyton. Bledsoe beat Aikman? McNabb beat Warner? And Gannon beat Favre? What the heck?

Has to be hacked.

People are stupid out there, but there isnt that MANY id-iots. Nfl.com really needs to acknowledge the hack and take steps to prevent it in the future. The bracket could have been fun without the hacking, but even from the start (Wilson being on it) there was some absurdity.

They should take it down. And Cowherd's bracket was hacked? Wasn't the final four Unitas, Montana, Manning, and Brady? That's a solid four.

Not to get off topic but when I looked at the bracket somehow I got taken through an ad I think to a video of Scarlett's "Independent Love Song" song. Anyone remember that song from the 90's. Had one of the best chorus' ever. It was in the movie Bed of Roses with Christian Slater. Got it stuck in my head now.

This whole thread is a joke. Like I said, there is no clear cut GOAT. PERIOD!  I don't see Otto Graham who won 10 straight championships. How about Sammy Baugh?  He not only lead in passing, he lead in punting and interceptions on defense in one season. Baugh had one game where he threw 4 TDs and had 4 interceptions. Oh by the way, that was before the ball was made for passing. So as I said the GOAT is all someones opinion and they all stink except your own.

Otto lost to Terry Bradshaw in the first round.

These fan polls are usually pretty worthless. Not something that should get anyone bent out of shape. I doubt this has been hacked, it's just popular opinion among respondents, which is completely meaningless. Keep in mind that popular opinion has also brought us garbage television, fleeting-one-pop-hit-wonders, and politicians who couldn't not find their own rear ends using both hands.

    • I'm not saying he is about to be a sack machine but you can see some of his potential as a one gap penetrator with that frame.
    • Davis came from Alabama. My point of interest as the writer highlighted is he is moving from being a 2 gapper into now only being responsible for a single gap with a lot more penetration from him versus read and react. With his length and power at 6ft 7 300 plus the expectation for him in our scheme is he will be more disruptive. A much more reliable option for us if Grover goes down in addition to whatever else maybe we can do with him.
    • Thank you. You guys are too kind, but I truly appreciate the support.    Perhaps I am being too hard on myself… But my point still stands that anyone who makes it to the NFL, whether practice squad or starter, has achieved something prestigious that only a rare few ever achieve.    Over a million high schoolers play. Of those only 7.8 percent move on to play in college.    Over 80,000 people play in college. Only 0.4 percent make it to opening day in the NFL.    Only 2,016 players make it to NFL rosters.
    • Davis had a very good rookie season after being drafted in the 2nd round out of Ohio State (I believe).   Graded in the 70’s against both the run and pass.      But his last three years have been disappointing, as he’s graded in the mid-50’s.   The reason I’m so interested in this signing, is (A) I’m sure it was heavily influenced by the new DL coach, Partridge.   And (B) we’re paying him 2/14.  I don’t recall that kind of money ever being given to a basic backup before.   Don’t think Davis is here to push Stewart, the Colts just signed him to 3/39.  That tells me the Colts defensive staff sees him differently.   I don’t know what the plan the staff has come up with for Davis, but I’m looking forward to watching it play out.
