They are cuttin both Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas. Then they have to restructure a lot of contracts including that of Brees. 

 

Mickey Loomis is a smart GM. He knows they have to win now given the age of Brees. They're gonna be in cap hall after he retires, but whatever. You have to rebuild then anyway.

Literally the worst thing the Saints could have done IMO. They're already in cap trouble, now this isn't helping. Look for more Saints players to become options for us to pickup via Trade/FA.
