Will Bill Polian Get The Call? (Minnesota, Detroit or D.C.)

I think Polian's time in the league is done.  He's 71 and has a sweet gig at ESPN.  At most, I could see some team bringing him in for a consultant role, but I don't think he will see another GM job

I got burned out on the guy while he was here, thankfully no longer!

It is so easy to sit in an office at ESPN a few days a week, call old friends for info and be on call to comment on things you have known about for years.

 

Its almost like a free reward for life's work...and a huge ego stroke

Once you get that easy media check..its hard to justify going back to a job where you can get fired for being wrong..

 

There's just no way you give that up...
