Colts sign LB Andy Studebaker

That's the ONLY difference?  LOL!

I agree, there are talented players from the lower division schools.  Very few from D3 though, probably less than a dozen in the NFL.  And we may have the best one.

What I still don't understand about Studebaker is how the Jags cut him.   Apparently his cut didn't even make a ripple of news and was expected.  Could have been scheme.

Heck, he may not even be active and will probably just play STs if he is.  At this point, I'm confidence that Grigs knows how to improve the bottom of the roster with the best of them.

Pierre Garcon (Remember me?), Redkins, D3 - Mount Union

London Fletcher, Redskins, D3 - John Carroll

Fred Jackson, Bills, D3 - Coe

I'd say they're all slightly better than Studebaker. I get your point, though.

As long as when he is in the game (if he gets in the game) he dont rush upfield 10-15 yards before the running back even gets the ball leaving a massive hole then I'd say he is an improvement against the run, sacks are nice but they are utterly useless if a running back can gain those yards right back by running right at the same guy that put them in a hole to begin with (Mathis)

I wonder if he's another one of these "beasts" that either gets cut or traded within 2 weeks.

Someone might as well start the thread now about being mad Grigson cut/traded him.

It happened for the first Q...       then?

Missed tackles maybe but Colts were there.   The former administration would have "did what they did"..

And got toasted.
