Remember Bradys wife whining about after the loss last year?

This year Welkers wife posted >  "Proud of my husband and the Pats. By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. 6 kids 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!"

Have to say I totally agree with her!  Totally sick and tired of that guy being worshiped - sure hes a great football player, but IMO he shouldnt have ever gotten the chance!

What I mostly remember is all the fan-boys calling players by their first names as they furiously post from mom's basement.  At least Welker's wife has a relationship with a guy who actually PLAYS football.

haha They should make the Real Housewives of the New England Patriots! Some classy ladies.

In regards to Ray:

He plays great football. His personal life if none of our business to be honest, and these types of matters really shouldn't be made public. We shouldn't judge. That is what God, or the higher power you believe in, is for.

I'd be soooooo upset if my wife posted something like this after a game. Oh boy...

Do you have to worry about what your wife posts after an NFL game?  Are you an NFL player?  If not, you are PATHETIC.

He is an old bitter man with nothing to live for. So as he sits in his urine soaked house coat, the only thing that makes him feel better is taking shots at us youngsters on this blasted anternet..

Seriously. In another thread he's calling a dude a "fan-boy" for calling Luck by his first name.

I think what she did was extremely low. What if Ray Lewis went to twitter and aired out all of her dirty laundry if he had knowledge of it? Maybe the Patriots would have had a better shot if that husband of hers would stop dropping the ball in key situations. I'd definitely be heated like crazy if my wife got on twitter or whatever social media and did that crap. Especially if I am a professional football player. You don't hear any stories of Ray Lewis not taking care of his children and his family, so the man has the right to have 100 kids if he darn well pleases! When is it a crime to have children? Especially when you have more than enough money to deal with the financial burden. His criminal case has been over for years now, and you might not like the result but I give credit to Ray Lewis for changing his life and never allowing himself to be caught up again.

For those people who say Ray Lewis is a murderer, you make me sick.

You're ignorant for thinking Ray is a murderer. Oh, and for the OP, he's someone everyone should look up to. He's a true inspirational hero.

What ticks me off is that if Manti te'o NON story is all over the place - why arent they all over this too? Is Ray Lewis really that untouchable?

What's the end game? Not only was it over a decade ago, but he's had no negative interactions with the law since, and he did everything our judicial system asked him to do.

Why drudge up something that old?

This is now closed.

1) The original post included a link to a video that contains some elements we don't allow on the board. That link has been removed.

2) This is a subject that seems to rile people up, and while it can be discussed without violating the rules, this particular thread seemed to heat up right from jump.

3) There have been a handful of personal insults hurled around in this thread toward other members of the board. We've hidden those posts, but it's obvious this thread is going downhill.

4) Most importantly, this thread referenced Nick Harper's wife, and was doomed from that point forward.

Thanks.
