I got that feel from him as well. He seemed very upbeat with a positive attitude about it. I think the Colts might just me making the new Texans 3-4 defense prepare for 2 different game plans. I love it! If Peyton plays the entire season, I am extremely optimistic about the season.

but seeing the field goal kick at the end,

manning had a huge smirk on his face, like it didnt matter what happend, but he was just pumped up it seemed

I got the same feeling. I've believed (and hoped) all along he'd be starting week 1, and I feel more confident about it now. I guess we'll know for sure in a couple weeks, but I do feel a bit better about it..

Take this for what it is but Lamey was on local radio this afternoon giving an interview and he said he expects Peyton to start game one. Now Lamey's word is not stone cold lock but he does get a pay check from the Colts and probably has more info on the Colts than anyone else in the media.

I also believe Peyton is playing game one. It seems the 4 million goin to Collins could have been better spent in the secondary. Maybe bringing back Hayden? I guess the front office expects someone to step up and play opposite of Powers. I hope that happens soon.

Man if Peyton starts for us week 1, I am loving our team this year. I feel this is the most complete bunch we have had. I just want the young Linemen to work together and get some chemistry with Peyton. That is my only concern.
