Lovie Smith smoked

I think he would be a good fit in Buffalo. The only thing is he would be walking into another situation having to find a decent quarterback. Obviously you would have to build the offense around Spiller. They have some pretty good parts on defense though.

How many playoff teams did they beat this year? Colts and Vikings that was it.

Chicago is a joke. Take Cutler with him. They have been all defense and no offense forever under Lovie. Look how long it took them to realize Rex Grossman was a bust.

How is that Lovie's fault that the Bears team has been completely lopsided for years? The GM for years never got that team a real WR until they finally were basically forced to go get one for Cutler. When you trout out Hester as your best WR you are a joke of a GM. That OL has been neglected as well for years.

He probably should have been fired, but how that GM gets a pass is beyond me.

Hmmm let's see the QB situation over there. They waited and waited and waited to get rid of Grossman, then the short term solution was Orton, then Cutler, who is just a tad bit better than Orton and loves to throw picks. The Bears never had a real offense under Lovie. Making your best player WR was a big mistake. Why they kept Grossman on their team so long, I will never know. He's perhaps the worst QB to ever make it to a Super Bowl thanks to his defense, but they kept him long enough, he was their man. Lovie never seemed too concerned about him despite all the 3-5 INT games.

He had more than enough time to build them at least an average offense. They won 10 games this year and only beat 2 playoff teams; Minnesota and Indy. That just goes to prove how mediocre they have always been under him. All star defense, bust offense. They had more than enough time to fix the QB and the o-line and the rest of the offense. They bring in Mike Martz who is doing something right with them in 2010 and they fire him and he's the fall guy for last year. Cutler is just not your man that is going to take you to the Super Bowl. I don't care how many people say he was hurt, he did not look that hurt on the sidelines of that NFC Championship. He looked fine to me. Yes I know the O-line is bad and how he has no weapons, but he makes a lot of mistakes on his own with decision making. Drew Brees won a Super Bowl with C and B grade receivers. You don't need all pro WR's to win something.
