Barkley looks like he had a bad injury.

Report is a normal (not high) ankle sprain.  Probably unlikely he plays Thursday but after that I’d bet he’s back.

How does the Washington offense look with their new OC? I see that the Chiefs only scored 17 against the Jags. Is the Jags defense that good?

How did Stroud look?

Washington offense seems to be at least decent if not down right good.

Yes the Jags D, especially their dline, is really good.

i thought Stroud looked excellent.  He’s approaching the first 100 passes of his career with no INTs.  That’s impressive.  It’s even more so when you factor in I think I had more rushing yards than the Texans do this year and that he’s been sacked 11 times in two games.  I know their line is beat up but I fear he gets Andrew Lucked and just gets beat to hell.

I was watching Saints @ Panthers. It is not too entertaining. I was hoping to see how Young plays.

I switched to Browns @ Steelers. Home team is up 7-0 after a weird pick-6 that got tipped at least twice. It is very loud in Pittsburgh.

The Vikings signed Guard Dalton Risner. We needed help in the interior OL.

@Jared Cisneros Remind me of Risner's strengths. Thank you.

Strong pass blocker, weak run blocker, very versatile on the line, can play multiple O-Line positions.

NFL should be ashamed of putting the Panthers/Saints game on Monday night. They knew these teams are mid-level at best. The only thing this does is showcase Bryce Young. The offenses are awful, and the defenses aren't even great, they are just better than the poor offenses on the field by the fault. It's one of those games that is impossible to enjoy.

Richardson and Stroud both look better then young. Young looks like he is panicking.

Was Stroud stats really good or did Colts defense let up some?

Stroud scored one legit TD and some yards early, but a lot of it was garbage time stats in the 2nd half.

I agree, Colts wasn't letting deep threats but they did awful tackling towards end of game.

If going to give up the short yardage at least make the tackles.

It was a little of both. But still impressive with that makeshift Oline.

I won't disagree on that statement.

What weapons does Young have besides a older Adam, I mean I don't know that's why I'm asking??

I get the weapons are bad. But he just does not look in control. I think stroud and Richardson have looked the part. Not seeing it from young yet. Needs to use his legs more.

Okay, good point. But I'm not familiar that much with Panthers players. I know Adam from vikings and they picked up Miles. Is there others they have that are suppose to be promising?

DJ Chark, Jonathan Mingo (2nd round pick this year), Terrance Marshall, Hayden Hurst

So not a lot tbh.

I have a decent amount of Panthers in my $206 worth of bestball contests. This game was infuriating to watch during the first half. I don't depend on them for points a lot as a main option, but they were good for a third combo team in some leagues.

Brutal injury for Chubb. So bad they wouldn’t show the replay.

What happened I was on the other game??

They said he got hit right on the knee and ABC wouldn’t show the replay because as Joe Buck put it “the Chubb injury is not to be seen” but they showed it on the replay in the stadium and the crowd let out a loud grown when they saw it and Steelers fans cheered for him as he was being carted off.

Exactly, I try to find players later in season that might be really good.

Wow! Thanks for the update.

The Browns Steelers game is drunk.  The first play of the game was a pick six for the Steelers since there have been four turnovers and the Steelers have seven offensive plays with two turnovers

Yeah they just talked about it.  Chubb had a planted leg and took a hit right on knee from Fitzpatrick and his knee collapsed on the hit.  They did show Chubb laying on the ground holding his knee howling in pain.

Yeah poor Chubb.

That was a Willis McGahee type injury.

Yeah no injury is good. That's a shame I waned colts to draft him.

In case anyone is wondering the Browns don’t have a first round pick but yes I think they would at least call the Colts about Taylor.  I don’t know if they have enough to work a deal with the Colts for him or if the Colts are interested in trading him.  I do think they could bring Hunt back though.

I could see them bringing Hunt back..

Both could happen IMO. This is the first major injury at RB where I think an actual trade could be made for Taylor. Hunt is a good option to reunite as well. It just depends on how desperate they are. Jerome Ford is a decent no2, but he won't fill the shoes of Chubb. Taylor is certainly a possibility. A 2nd rounder is possible IMO with a pick in 2025 if that would happen IMO.

Good post 8818.

I meant the fans were grumbling in their seats over Bryce... It sounds like what our board would if it had a sound... Lol

Reich is the same play caller as he was in Indy - another HB dive coming soon

Young looks tiny and not ready for the NFL

Eddy Piniero is Carolina’s only offensive weapon!

    • oh come on the odds have to be at least 1% lol
    • it’s a soft area zone scheme… notice how when most  if not all receivers aren’t within 10 yds of a defender when they catch the ball… that’s my design that’s not a talent problem.    It's maddening to watch Zaire just stand there 10+ yards deep, seconds into the play and he watches someone release right in front of him for an easy toss for 5+ yards catch and run.   He should be seeing it coming and driving to hammer the pass catcher as the ball arrives. A Gus defense is Ballard's defense. And one of the worst in the league. Please Irsays, fire these people. Give us a chance, give us hope.
    • I think he is doing that.  Our linebackers are not a great unit.  So he has to work with what he has.  The rookie Carlise really started to get increased reps then his injury happened.  Hopefully he continues to improve but Gus can only work with the talent he has.  That’s why upgrading the linebackers should be a priority.  I’m looking for a veteran that could start and have an immediate impact next year.
    • Leonard had a great knack of creating Turnovers, punching the ball out. Perhaps the best I have ever seen at it. He didn't have much longevity but is a top 20 Colt ever IMO, barely. I have him at 20. He could be on my team any day. As far as Coaching, I would say no because you can't teach the gift he had, his timing was perfect on those plays. Cato June had the same knack. I did my all-time top 25 Colts list and Cato was #25, he was so underrated. He had so many key INT's in big games.
    • 49ers being at home is tempting and it is a must win for them, but I just don't see it. It isn't their year. Once it was announced McCaffrey was out for the year, that was all she wrote. They beat the Bears but the Bears stink.
