Hubbard is the MVP of the Bengals this postseason.

Huh?  I thought it had to be somebody on the offense since everybody keeps pushing the narrative that it’s these offensive minded head coaches leading these shootout victories. I’m seeing the better defenses winning these last few weeks.

That guy is electric.  KC knows how to draft speed.

That is why Colts fans were so excited about hiring Ballard. He was part of the Chiefs team that assembled a lot of talent on offense and defense.

I see what you mean. Had Hubbard not scored against the Ravens…

Disappointing cincy. Gotta get points off turnovers not punts

There have been multiple times this year that the offense has gone completely cold right when they are needed…

This is giving me Halloween night against the Browns flashbacks. Might not be the Bengals night unfortunately… too bad because the AFC will be taking it to Cincy every game next season.

I’ve been team Ballard but he’s come up short when it’s come to drafting electric players (outside of Taylor & Hines).  Campbell was often injured. But the guys we did have were never used properly.  For example , we’d end up running  jet sweeps with Pittman or our tight ends instead of Campbell.

Chase & Higgins are both ridiculous.  2 amazing catches.  I’m starting to think Burrow is the luckiest QB in recent college to pro transition history.  Guy went from Chase & Jefferson to Chase & Higgins.

Had the Bengals not gone for it on 4th and long, this game would not be tied. I think that is playing to win.

Touché. Lol.

I am laughing at someone on twitter said we should get Higgins. They seem to forget Pittman made the exact same catch on the exact same play against SF. He just hasn’t had stability at QB/

We’ll have our Chase in next years draft :-)

Word was we wanted Higgins but Cincy took him with the 1st pick of the 2nd round. So we took Pittman instead. I agree about the QB play but I think Higgins is more fluid. Pittman definitely more physical.

Tbf the throw to Pittman was under thrown. Don’t know if that made his catch harder or easier though.

We might have him in pierce.  But we will see abortive Marv junior.

Hey I won’t complain if we somehow end up with Harrison Jr, Pittman Jr and Pierce all on the field at the same time. That would be fire!

    • I understand how talent rolls off and onto a team and how priorities are matched against capital.   Are you not understanding my question?  If you don't understand, don't want to say an answer, or don't have an opinion, that's fine.  Just making sure you understand what I'm asking.   Do you think the ceiling of talent for the LBer corps is good enough?  And I know good enough is relative, so it would be in your view.
    • After the sign stealing saga allegations, Michigan is going to operate with a chip on their shoulder the rest of the way, IMO.
    • Or he tells Kraft, give me one more year to groom my replacement Jerod Mayo, and a chance to get a good QB from the draft and I will leave on a high note??
    • The cupboard for most positions has to be replenished, all the time, IMO, except for prime positions like QB, where there is little turnover since the evaluation period is typically 3-4 years if drafted and backup QBs are seldom drafted.   You decide on depth/starters at 3 or 4 positions that need the most infusion of depth or replacement anticipation, draft those when value presents itself, and move on to 3 or 4 other positions next draft for depth and so on. That process is constant/should be constant with any GM, IMO. Since all holes for starters can't be filled with the draft, you supplement with FA.
    • I get that.  Every player has a ceiling despite what they might cost.   Do you think there should be a resourced effort into looking for a replacement for any of the starting LBers?
