I can just see him now in the Bills or Chiefs backfield when we play them.  I would rather not roll the dice.  He owes us nothing especially if we cut him now.  Everyone knows the Bills need a running back.  He could be their missing piece for a SB.

He hasn’t done anything all season. He has been a healthy scratch. I doubt he would leave the colts if we are still playing. I also doubt anyone would sign him after clearing waivers.

I don’t see this team cutting Mack, but I suppose it could happen.   I think he’s insurance against a potential JT injury.

He can still be insurance . Read the above posts.

I didn’t know this but on that play Parris broke his foot on the Texan player actually punctured his lung. So he fell down on his foot a lot harder then it looked.

I said at the time (and posted the vids), that this was not a "Mr. Glass" moment for Campbell. It was a complete fluke type injury that would have broke any players foot. Just a truly unlucky situation, not an injury prone moment.

I don’t see the Colts taking the risk.    Too much downside, not enough upside.   But stranger things could happen….

I dont think they risk Patmon, maybe Strachan whom others may not feel as strong about as we do but I think others mentioned are less risk of being claimed.

Highly doubt they risk either WR.

Strachan would be grabbed quickly. He's still a great X prospect. We just have a great X already so the need to play him is exceptionally low for us in our situation.

If we need to drop someone, Fries or Davenport would be the guy for me. Mack isn't going to be here next season, so he's an obvious option. Or Adams or Glasgow given the emergence of Speed's increased PT. Anyway, several guys before any of the WRs.

Last years injury was flukey too.  Bad luck.

we still don’t know if he’s any good though.  It would be nice to find out while he’s signed.

How he’s still hanging on the active roster is impressive he’s so bad.

Most of his injuries have been fluke-ish. Truly bad luck lol.... I recommended seeing a manman or papaloa after his first two years. He needs to shake off that bad juju somehow.

I think we've seen enough to know he's got legit skills when he's been healthy. This year, in his very limited snaps, his passer rating when targeted is 110. For context, Pittman's is 96.

I'm not saying he'll be elite, but he's been productive quickly when inserted into our O. And he's a few levels up from Pascal at slot. More than a few levels.

Just a product of our OL in flux and Covid IMO. With Fisher in and out of the line up, doubt we ditch him. We've got options at G though (Reed and Pinter), so Fries would probably be my choice given Q and Glow look to be stable now. But Covid can change any of that lol...

    • Stay right over there, Mr. Flacco.
    • Watch the player on the Sparks bench, she gets so mad. Lol.    Yeah, Fever could easily be 3-3 right now. Not too concerned about it. I think they will get better as season progresses and will be potentially dangerous next year once Clark gets acclimated to league.     17pts, 6ast, 5reb 1.2stl, 1blk a game while still getting used to everything.     Needs to bring those turnovers down and bring that shooting percentage up.   I imagine both off those things will happen, and then we will be truly tough to compete with.   Those 2 losses(4 total) to Connecticut and New York, the close games, lets me know they will be able to compete, soon, with the Connecticut's, New York's and LV' of the league.     Think they play LV tonight?
    • Best 5, that's what they say. Freeland only needs to play better at RT than Fries at RG. It's not about beating out Smith, don't think he could either.
    • There is no way I can see Freeland beating out Smith at RT.  Smith had the successful offseason surgery as well.  If it ain’t broke you don’t fix it as the saying goes.  Freeland hasn’t shown he is ready to start.  Fries played very well last year and they brought in Conclaves to back him up or possibly replace him if Fries leaves in FA after this year.  That’s a possibility I think.  For now I see our starting OL starting again unless there is an injury.  I think the backups are stronger than last year’s though.
    • Nice post.  So many in house choices at FS.  They will probably settle on one of them. Most likely Cross or Scott.  Of course my favorite solution is trading for Baker and extending him and the problem is solved for the foreseeable future. But we know Ballard so he will be giving his young draftee’s an opportunity as he should.  I do think Brent’s and Jones are the starting corners.  I do think Brents has to stay healthy because I can easily see Flowers taking it and not giving it back if he misses significant time again.
