  1. Shoot man I grew up in the 70s and 80s. We still party way harder than these young whipper snappers lol.
  2. Youre tough man. Doing that from a phone is like a personal Chinese hell to me. I’m not good at phones.
  3. a Ya sin had an ok year last year but he doesn’t play much for Balt. Mostly special teamer. I get why they drafted RYS when they were doing a lot of T2 type concepts hoping he’d help with the run being a good wrestler and beating up receivers in press coverage with safety help in a mostly C2 based D. He might have been decent there but for whatever reason he played off the line most of the time iirc. W I also get why we traded him for Ngakoue. We needed pass rush. But the dude just isn’t very good. Also we moved to C3 and Rock isn’t suited for press/Bail tech or able to run deep with speed guys off the los. I don’t think much was gained or lost in the deal.
  4. I think it was the two floaters Young threw to a wide open Kenny Moore lol. The first one Kenny Moore breaks on and makes a nice play but the main deal was just a weak quail of a throw from lil Bryce giving Moore the chance to break on it. Not a NFL level throw. There’s a little pressure but he could have easily stepped to his left. He doesn’t seem to show an ability to stick it in there Sunday. Haven’t really watched Bryce but he made Minshew look like Dan Marino and Aroldis Chapmans love child. The 2nd wasn’t really a play by Moore at all per se. Lil Bryce just floats it weakly over the receiver into Kenny’s waiting arms and he runs straight into the EZ. It was another strange game and I don’t know what to make of it. We didn’t really need to play offense against them. I wonder how the offense would have looked if it was needed.
  5. That’s precisely why Sorgi is my favorite back up QB. He didn’t play much lol.
  6. Those aren’t original thoughts I posted. There is all kinds of stuff out there about his personality. IDK why being arrogant and cocky is a negative for A QB. Manning was both arrogant and cocky. if he’s uncoachable that’s another thing but I never saw anything that said that. im guessing not diagnosing but guessing that the dude has issues relating to common dummies like us.
  7. I think he might be on the spectrum. He’s exceptionally intelligent, an actual, not figurative, genius. He seems like he might be one of those genius type people that struggle with human relations. Rain man only totally functional. Hes quirky. He may have been believed to have issues relating and leading other human beings or something. But the size, strength, HOF arm talent falling to the 2nd round has to have some plausible explanation. Being a genius doesn’t necessarily help one become a good Fb player though. Fitz magic is a genius and his main issue was playing stupid with turnovers.
  8. You don’t think it has anything to with his stat line? Hmm. Mmkay. maybe the 14 TDs 1 int and 12 best QBR and 79 pff for a team that won 11 total games the last 3 seasons has something to do with why everyone is saying it. maybe he’s clearly the best so far by a wide margin. Maybe it’s also because he’s had one of the best starts of any rookie QB that I can come up with.
  9. They don’t take the smart dumb wunderkich anymore I believe. the test you are referring to that was low was a processing speed test.
  10. Did you watch the game. if you did you’d probably see his line was in shambles and he kept them in the game. In the first half he looked really good to me . every one of tn st#rting. Linemen missed time that game. All 5 starters. Hes a very accurate passer of the football with a lightening quick release. He must have some other issues or something.
  11. That was about his last good season wasn’t it? Maybe one more. He was good for 5 or 6 years then washed out. Not 10 or 12. A few years .
  12. Why do you feel the need to question his assessment on an open forum message board as if he’s done something wrong. We get it NCF. He’s a rookie. Ok you never need to make that point ever again.
  13. After young weighed in he went and took a leak as long as that Mackenzie brother put out that fire at Elsinore brewery.
  14. Pennington was a legit NFL starter for a while and had a couple of pretty good years, but he was great at reading and anticipation and I don’t know if you remember Hebert but he was the same way. Ultimately neither had the arm strength to keep playing. And I haven’t seen anything like that reading/anticipation from young. He is arookie though and this was his strength I think according to scouting reports, so it could develop. But man that pick looks bad. They need to pick a QB 1st next year but traded their 1st for young.
  15. I can’t for the life of me see in Young why anyone thought he was a big QB prospect. Yardage and TDs in college sometimes doesn’t matter and the number of guys who put up huge college stats but aren’t really NFL talent is prodigious. But the kid is tiny. Doesn’t have any outstanding athletic talent for an NFL player. and man he just isn’t able to throw very hard lol from what I’ve seen. im guessing Chad Pennington/Bobby Hebert ceiling at the absolute most and that’s if he develops into a great reader/reacter. Both Pennington and Hebert were able to be decent for a while with arm strength that is less than the usual minimal threshold for NFL QBs. young’s balls just take longer to get there than I’m used to seeing in the NFL. I do not understand how he was selected so high.
  16. I like Buckner on the edge in passing downs. It doesn’t seem like young has the arm strength to be an NFL qb.
  17. I’m just saying it’s only been recently we’re QBs take that many Carrie’s.
  18. He had a longer career but he sucked after the first few years. Pretty good Doug. Sounds like Wilson only Wilson was better at avoiding hits, and was effective longer.
  19. Mahomes won a SB last year as an immobile QB. Guys are taking 100-170 Carries from the QB spot now. Massively different than when Luck played. I’m not sure what Doug is saying exactly, but I’m guessing that as we go on, these high volume rushing QBs are gonna wash up quicker like RBs do.
  20. You said Luck wasn’t a running QB and was a prototypical pocket passer and he ran for more yards on average that Mahomes before the new craze of running QBs. seems like you might be cherry picking to support your position.
  21. Like most things Colt that are not going well I think this issue is also a personnel issue. Dback wise I’m sure you’ve commented like almost every one else, we lost a lot with Gilmore and then the gambler and we were bound to struggle in the secondary. But we also should have known that we would struggle v the pass in the LB corps with or without Shaq. We had some false positivity at the start of the season, but our LB corps is weakness not a strength. The secondary is weak. The Dline is decent but not good enough to make up for the deficiencies of the other groups, and Stewart’s suspension hurts that group v the run. As far as blitzing you seem to be saying why not? We suck any way playing the way we are allowing 153 on 3 catches. I get that . But blitzing without guys that can man cover TEs and other quick routes out of the back field and from bunched or slanting wide players can get a lot worse. I’m not against blitzing in theory but you’ve got to have personnel that can execute it. We don’t appear to have that but I guess why not try and see what happens at this point.
  22. I loved his release and it was on full display that half. The Titans line is in shambles and he’s getting it done.
