  1. Going to bed at half so things could change drastically but Levis looks great right now.
  2. A really nice player so far in a vital position. Agreed. He slid quite a way and a lot of teams that considered him likely regret it now.
  3. Maybe now get this. Maybe he isn’t playing as much cause he’s cruising and not laying the lumber?
  4. If you don’t know words and reality don’t always match, well . . .
  5. I just don’t see him ever being a 20 mill LB. But I didn’t in the 1st place. 15 mill or so pay cut then fine IMo.
  6. I agree with you that the problem is the salary. He's OK. He's meh. He's a JAG. He's making superstar plus money. That's the issue. He need to be shown the door. I think the issue is Shaq. Regardless of the scheme and leg injury he can go hit somebody one time. I'm not sure if I've seen him do that. He looks like he doesn't care out there. I don't blame him. I think he's likely washed up and/or he's lost his fire. I believe he is a family man. He might be realizing that being multi millionaire and continuing to play football is dumb.
  7. Better than bad ain't necessarily good lol. He's the best of a bad bunch. He needs to be cut as soon as is fiscally convenient. That is presumably in the off season.
  8. PFF has him at 64 which is considered backup/replaceable level. And again, that is as a LB only in on running downs. That ain't good. Shaq looks like he's cruising to me. He's slower no doubt, but that shouldn't stop him from trying to hit someone and knock the stuffing out of him. He doesn't want to do it as far as I can tell. Probably very wise for a rich man like him to play like that, but it doesn't make a very good ILB.
  9. According to PFF he's playing at a backup/replaceable level. He earns that without being in on obvious passing downs. Unless the staff is wrong and Shaq is not better at coverage than v the run, then it would be plausible that his PFF would drop dramatically if he was in on passing downs. He's not a very good LB at the moment. Certainly not worth the lowest of salaries among ILBs.
  10. Leonard was never very good in coverage. I think the 3rd down thing is simple. He's not good in coverage, therefore he comes out.
  11. Depends on what kid of drinking mood I'm in though. Thank you Jason your magnificent way of knowing when opinions should be formed is astounding.
  12. Since you are the God an Arbiter of all things opinon related, will you please inform us as to when it is your wish for us to start forming opinions? And BTW Lord, it hurts my feelings when you are mean and make personal attacks against me. And BTW again Almighty One, I am not sure about SS either way at this point either.
  13. He has "something". He does appear to be unflustered. But he is also a strikiningly inaccurate passer. IMO, there is now way this kid is the answer if he isn't taking 120-170 carries a year like Hurts, Jackson, and Allen (though Allen might be evolving away from so many carries). So the injury situation so far for that type of load is inauspicious to say the least. He quite frankly looked just like he did on film from Florida. Talented, but inaccurate. Exciting, but not all that productive. I am not of the opinion that he is destined to be a bust. He appears to be at the least a low tier NFL starting QB. Whether or not he pans out into a star that the org so desperately needs, is far from clear IMO. I doubt a 45 QBR player has ever gotten this amount of positive report though.
  14. Please inform us Jason when we have enough information to form an opinion lol.
  15. Often its the same difference between a reasoned, freely derived opinion and an emotional, agenda driven one.
  16. Anthony Richardson has done nothing on the field of play that should instill great confidence that he is the Colts' long term answer at QB. The converse is also true. Anthony Richardson was not a particularly effective QB when he was playing for the Colts this season.
  17. He's cool, but yeah. A bit much. My son loves him. He appeals to younger people. He's real too, and that's really refreshing. I don't love watching him but I act like I do when I'm watching him with my son.
  18. Has anyone ever thought the contrary ? What is the point of that point?
  19. Correction. Almost everyone wanted JM. Nelson was one of 3 guys brought in on the line. Good player with a couple great years to start off. His first couple seasons were off the charts for a G. But there is a law of diminishing returns of sorts in play there at the G positions. But his level of play past a certain point doesn't increase win probablitity that much. I'm one of a group that think Leonard was overrated from the beginning. He was in a WILL friendly system. He got good TO a couple of years. Other than that, he was a high volume angle tackler who was mediocre in coverage.
  20. Everyone wanted McDaniels when Ballard hired him. That's revisionist history IMO. What I think he deserves the most criticsim for and I think it's obvious. He's done very little with the most important positions in the game. His "hits" are in positions that the level of play between players in that group isn't nearly as wide as LG, ILB, and RB.
  21. Brock Purdy doesn’t have half of Will Levi’s arm talent.
