It could have, but, he asked and I provided! Lol

I know my "Clue" reference was a big hit (haha), how about Sgt Peacock from the Dirty Dozen?

And i agree with the excitement about our team speed.  On BOTH sides of the ball.

I know we have the big named players of TY, Campbell, Cain and Funch but the

guy I'm watching closely is Marcus Johnson and if he can get back to 100%.

He is #5 on my depth chart unless one of the newbies burn it up. The kid did

well before his injury.

We all probably agree that the first three spots are set with TY, Funch, and Campbell.

That leaves ten guys going for two or three spots.  All with talent.

This is going to be my favorite position to watch in the preseason.  Can’t wait!

Who you got rising to the top for your final 2 or 3 spots?

Assuming he’s healthy, Cain should be #4.  After that, its anyone’s guess.

Chester is from Huntsville so I’m rooting for him to be 5.  They liked him enough to tender him and he’s a reliable returner.  But he may be one of the least naturally talented.

I think Johnson has the strength and size I doubt we keep 6.  I’m hoping we can keep a couple on the PS.

Couldnt this hav gone in your nascar thread?  Or maybe start a new "enter racing word here" thread.

(just bustin your butt)

Come on now. The Indy 500 is both faster and superior to NASCAR, not to mention from Indianapolis.

All three can be said for the Colts as well

In the above, you have one Z (TY), two slots (PC and MJ), and three Xs (Funch, Cain, Fountain).

I'm good with only carrying one Z (keep in mind Rogers was his back up), and three Xs.. But at slot.... PC is a rookie, and MJ has been oft injured and hasn't ever had any real production dating back to college...

Do you really think they cut Rogers after the gains he made last year, he's the only experienced TY backup, and starting returner from last year...? I know he's not razzle dazzle, but we relied on him a lot (in a lot of areas) last year.

I see Johnson as more of a Z and Fountain as a slot.

If I'm not mistaken, Johnson's big game last year right before he got hurt was as the Z. Though I could be wrong.

Also, I see Fountain as Reich's Agholor in the slot, but a bit more athletic.

Rogers puts on clinics in practice making DB's look like they're on skates, but that rarely (if ever) translated to game day. To me he is a JAG.....a reliable one, but a JAG nonetheless.

The best player for the team will earn the spot. He and Pascal will have to outshine the size/speed guys that Ballard drafted since Campbell can return kicks.

I too was a huge fan of Johnson. Speed and height is unteachable  traits.
